    Mirage arrived this afternoon,
[IMG]Jazz & Mirage by Brendan Mitchell, on Flickr
[IMG]Jazz & Mirage 2 by Brendan Mitchell, on Flickr

Once again Newage have hit one right out of the park, both modes look great, the transformation is super smooth, great posability and no QC issues. They even found a way to incorporate the shoulder weapon into the transformation which has a swappable missile, the shorter of which can stay in place for the alt mode as it fits into the space where the driver would sit.

The only thing I think would have made this version even better is rubber tyres but plastic ones are fine.

    EDIT,
One thing I forgot to mention when I first posted is that the joints on my copy of Mirage are all really tight so if anyone else gets him remember to take care and not to force anything.

    @SJW,
The pic with Make Toys Swerve sitting on him was just the chicken section, he looked even bigger when attached to the lynx part and I displayed each bit seperately on the same Detolf shelf. The chicken section has diecast legs and the toes split properly which really helped it's stability.

Just had to boil poor WC4P Black Arachnia's head, the joint was absolutely jammed and it's so thin, I just knew that any force would have left me with an involuntary "parts-former".

    They look so good together.

I don't work Wednesdays, I take it as a day to look after my kiddo. Today she stormed into my man cave, saw my old Jurassic park playset in the process of being cleaned after 25+ years in my parents garage, took a quick look and said "daddy lets play with the Dino castle."

Not sure how she knew it qas for dinosaurs. Maybe the fossil detailing on the sides of it? Regardless I took it downstairs, finished cleaning it and thought I'd wap some new batteries in...

Yeah. Still works despite that nightmare corrosion.

I think I'll be losing ownership of this one soon enough.

Annnd I couldn't resist a wee photo op.

All this IDW losing Transformers talk has given me the motivation to go read the original continuity. So the question I have is, what's the best way of reading digital comics?? I've tried on my phone but its way too small. And my e-reader is B&W. Is there a device that's good for comics, or is the computer screen the top pick?

I posted a new thread over in comics as I'm in a similar boat and wanted to know what I should / shouldn't read from IDW.

I use a Kindle Fire HD 10" with the Comixology app and have it set to guided mode, so it zooms in on each panel as you tap and go through the page, then (for me) shows the full page when you finish the page.

Maybe keep an eye on the digital pricing as no doubt they will get a heavy discount (and have been on sale before), because once the license is lost you won't be able to buy them anymore.

I'm sure a few people in this thread however have links to perhaps non legal ways of reading them all.

Thanks, actually I have them already from that humble bundle many moons ago. But I find reading them on screen a bit of a chore for the eyes

I forgot to post earlier that IDT have shipped my Buzzworthy Cliffjumper today.

Given that Kapow have shipped Perceptor I wonder if Comics have taken receipt and are in a similar position with Perceptor...

@bcm77 - jazz and mirage look fantastic

Any word on Slammer and Pipes shipping from Kapow? I had to chase one of my recent pre-orders with then after I saw the figure had been in stock for 2 weeks and I hadn't received any shipping notice.

My local Smyths has lots of Slammer and Pipes in stock when I looked in there yesterday. Filled the shelves with them.

Grabbed this little lady yesterday for a tenner. I’m not doing the BW line but I have her mould buddy so the plan is to stick both of them on Fort Max’s shoulders. Might get a patch for one of his eyes :p :

    Good evening everyone

Has anyone received Generations Selects toy deco Galvatron or the Robot Paradise cassettes that go with Acoustic Wave, from Kapow?

    Cheers.
