I apparently, my fans hobby commander decided to come after all. I think this is v2. What qc issues do I need to look out for?

Well if it's V2, the most you'd have to be weary of is treating the super mode waist swivel more gently as that's broken a few times but for the most part, there aren't major issues with that one. I do notice that one of the smokestacks is missing and I don't recall if that was in a bag or not when you first open it

Any possible fixes for that one?

Just request a new part if it does break, be careful when handling it to prevent it from breaking to begin with

Apparently I saw the broken waist thing in a Reddit post. I’d like to know any ways to fix/avoid the problem before asking for replacements.

I’m also worrying about the waist joint. I still have a V1 (with all of the problem pieces swapped out) but that’s still a huge worry. I know FH or my retailer will be able to replace stuff but I still can’t full enjoy the figure.

I never use it myself, I find the skirt pieces don't get out of the way enough for more than slight twisting, maybe 15 degrees either way. Enough to look dynamic but far from anything super dramatic

    Completely agree there.
It’s already really expressive in a lot of ways so it’s not lacking much if it’s not used.

    Oof….
I jinxed it, right after coming home from work today I decided to mess with naval commander a bit in anticipation for Megatron to get released and I’m seeing stress marks around his hips, crotch cover, and even on the trailer white panels.

I wonder if TheChosenPrime would still honor a replacement a whole year later and after all of the replacement parts I installed…

I got my parts through FH themselves, through their email

That’s where I got all of my replacement parts originally from too. The issue I’m having now is the trailer, specifically the hip joints, the white pieces and the replacement crotch piece also has bad stress marks now.

When I get my copy on Friday I will probably use a screwdriver and sand parts of the waist from the trailer.

It seems from most reports that the V2 and current run that is about to be in stock will not have issues. It was mainly the very first run of the figure that was plagued by rushed production.

Transformed the core bot. No issues so far.

No parts in the super mode is tight, aside from the legs for some reason. The waist particularly exerts not much force. Was there any reports of tight parts initially on the earlier versions? Fans hobby likely reduced the tightness on some of the toy on top of putting better plastic.

    God, I love this figure.

I checked mine out for stress marks and shit (V2) since somebody mentioned that their figure (V2) had some. Mine is still in pristine condition. One hinge on the trailer came broken but I was given a replacement. The hips on my super mode are still EXTRA ORDINARILY tight. I think that's to account for the weight of Overload! Makes sense.

Now I can't wait for the repaints. I know FH is gunna bring em hard. We should be almost gauranteed a Nemesis Prime and a Powerlink Prime out of this. IDK if I have room really, lol. Which is gunna be cooler? I think the Powelinks is gunna be a "must have" for me, even if I have to choose to sell something else for display room.

When I was just getting into transformers, the only media I could readily access was an armada dvd with the last few unicron episodes, and that one dvd that came with the cybertron wingsaber and optimus two-pack. Needless to say Powerlinx/final battle Optimus holds a very special place in my heart and I know for a fact that I would pick him up, even if I don't really have the room right now lol
