TM2 Megatron can be done well at Leader class since it has a really simple transformation that reduces parts count. This means it can be budgeted to be bigger, just like the SS86 Grimlock. PMOP needs to be a voyager sized figure that combines with its trailer to become a bigger robot. That is too much for a leader class, especially considering the upcoming Motormaster is basically the same concept and that is a commander figure.
That is why I suggested the Rhinox retool. As cool as a commander version would be I don’t know why people seem focused on that. The original toy was a deluxe just like the original Rhinox. Reminds me of people wanting game scale tidal wave that would need to be over 3 feet tall to be that scale.

I have to agree. Torca is a cool design but I've seen far too little of him to justify buying a $90 figure of him. But a voyager? Happily.

I am curious, why does he tend to be one of the first suggestions when people talk about fuzors? I see him brought up very often. Just a cool toy design or was he in something I missed?

Cool design, but also the fact that the original toy suffers from GPS so it's hard to get an intact copy at this point in time

I just got Skids recently and while he's hollow in some parts, there's no doubt the quality is still there. Hell, if anything he feels much more solid than a lot of the Earthrise toys, the joints are tight, he has weight and has a lot of paint on him too (even if the hubcaps are not painted).

    That's fair!

I would enjoy any Fuzors really. I love that concept.

Gotta love when people who haven't even handled a figure yet talk about it's lack of quality
    :lolol

Same! Personally I'd rather get Fuzors than Transmetals, largely because they'd be characters I don't yet have updates for.

Well do to how similar his design is to Rhinox it is an easier retool than most so it would be nice to get a new fuzor figure. Plus his design is monstrous, almost demonic, which is rare for an Autobot/Maximal. This guy would scare the shit out of Megatron.

I also think a new Air Hammer figure could be retooled from Kingdom Airazor.

Weren't you the guy who went around telling people, pre-release, that the Jurassic Park crossover set was priced fairly at $110 because JP93 was clearly a voyager class toy?

I guess one should only form positive opinions based on pre-release photos, huh?

I think Terrorsaur's engineering with Airazor's textures would be better for Airhammer (would get the Beast head on the back where it's supposed to go) but might end up with actual hands.

I said it was possible, not that it was an absolute fact, unlike you ;)

Speaking of which, I also just got Arcee who is also a pretty solid toy with a very ingenious transformation and guess what?

Windshield can be detached! (Since none of the reviewers show this).

Although is a missed opportunity they didn't make it connect with 5MM peg so it can't be used for anything else except the backpack but hey, there are some good news and just as I suspected and hoped:

Jetpack with turbines can be created!

This automatically makes the figure a winner.

That set was a voyager and a leader together so 30+50=$80. Then there is the Crossover licensing price increase of $15 per figure which has been on every Crossover figure since Ectotron so that brings the total price to $110.

That brings the total to $95. I have no dog in this race, but the math...

Definitely terrorsaur, forgot about him since it’s been months since I preordered him lol. They could even have the mouth and tail detach so they can cover the hands in bot mode as weapons to look like the original toy.

Even if JP-93 isn't considered a voyager, and instead a deluxe, he's a one time use new mold, like maverick, who cost much more than voyager which is what he feels like.

Another thing to keep in mind is, Mattel owns the JP license, and I doubt they wouldn't want at least something from it. So there may be a little extra price put in to either share a cut with Mattel, or make up the difference for paying them off for the one time license use.

$15 per figure, 2 figures in the set, 2x15=30

Reread the quoted text, $15 per figure in a 2 pack equals $30, $30+$50+$30=$110

These price increases are already being seen in Canada. Lots of Toys R Us have raised prices.

Even stuff already sitting on shelves went up. Ecto1 Afterlife is now $99.99 for example. SS leaders will be 84.99 now. Another TRU price increase

Not to be that guy but please don't say there were "budget cuts" when you literally have zero proof of this. When you start talking out of your ass, people can smell the BS from a mile away.

Have I wandered into crazy town?

JP93 is not a voyager. He's smaller than a couple of Siege deluxes and about as complex in parts count as a Cyberverse deluxe.
