I think Nightbird will be a normal Cybertronian but I could see her being a resurrected Shatter if Scourge had the power to do that (if he works for Unicron). till funny how Shatters head is based on Nightbird and Nightbird is in the sequel to BB and the main female villian.

Why is everybody convinced that Nightbird is a revived Shatter? I mean, somehow the rumors about how Scourge is essentially Nemesis Bayverse Prime 2.0 keep getting thrown out by everyone (even though this is entirely within what Unicron has done in other continuities), but Shatter somehow surviving being smashed so hard against a concrete wall she completely exploded is okay?

Is it that hard to imagine that there's more than one female Decepticon?

 

The AleximusPrimus guy told me that Shatter would be revived. I do find him very trustworthy, he has no reason to lie about it

 

I did say that but before they hired more writers , idk it might be still in or it might be cut but one thing is for sure , it's not nightbird , nightbird has nothing to do with shatter

 

Reminds me of the earlier films where everyone would make crazy-ass theories with the new characters being old ones.

I don’t think Shatter is Nightbird even if Shatter’s design was inspired by her. Plus, she’s pretty much underwater scrap. Only Megatron and Optimus got revived in the films.

 

I have no idea. Especially since Shatter is destroyed beyond repairs or being rebuilt.

I don't either, I think she's just a Decepticon who decided to join the Terrorcons. It is funny that Shatters head mainly is based on Nightbird and she's the next female villian in a BB sequel.

 

I'm guessing that Shatter rumor comes from the fact that Shatter's design was inspired by Nightbird, and Nightbird was a human-built robot in G1. It would be a neat story progression to have Nightbird be built from the remains of Shatter, but I kind of doubt it will happen. I think it's just fans connecting the dots.

 

If Angela Basset did Nightbird’s voice (assuming she speaks) then there could be something to this rumor.

Also about how chicken walker like are Nightbird's legs? Do they have multiple joints? Are they at a strange angle?

I mean the simple reason is due to the fact they’re most likely reusing some of shatter’s cgi assets for nightbird as they share similar design ques (plus its much easier to implement and its more budget friendly to reuse existing assets)

 

Maybe the head since that is based on Nightbird and maybe some other minor parts, but most of the design sounds brand new (if they did reuse parts).

Nope, none for him, Wheeljack, Battletrap, Cheetor or Bumblebee's robot mode but supposedly he looks similar to this fan art by @Lazlow007. Basically like the end of Bumblebee with door wings. But we should see how all except for Battletrap and Nightbird look in a few weeks or more when the ROTB gimmick toys are revealed.

I mean he always looks sort of the same since the 2007 movie, just with different body shapes and proportions due to his altmode.
