Im digging the dead prime

 

Got my H27D and H27EX. I will not open them in order to keep them in perfect shape.
Also comparison with TFE-01. That grey rectangle above H27EX's cab is printed, and there is no paper shell in the box as TFE.
Also there is a special grey paint on H27D's formerly red section, which has a different texture than others. It looks really nice and unique if you ask me.

 

Like how Death Optimus has damage, could have gone a little bit further for me by having his left body be more damaged than using a sticker, which would also come threw in alt mode.

 

I’d love to have grayscale Prime if they release one without the battle damage

This is like the first time ever that I actually like the dead repaint. It's like the perfect little legends display accessory to stack other figures around or to fit into the grip of a combiner hand. That price though is keeping me away. Yeesh.

 

I could see it as a con or lucky draw figure.

 

I’ve thought about this as well and I’d definitely buy one if they do! NA makes a ton of repaints so I’m sure we’ll see even more usage of this mold.

 

I don’t have any version of dead prime so I opted to buy this. $75 is crazy though! Damn, lol! I hope ShowZ is shipping this before the CNY. It says incoming so

 

i think dead OP is marked up much higher than it should be from ShowZ. it should be around the same price as nemisis and SG OP but is $10-15 more. on BBB dead OP is actually lower in price than both nemisis and SG OP.

 

That's incorrect.

BBB does not include shipping in their prices. Shipping on SG was $12 while shipping on dead op is $22. Shipping on Nemesis is $22.

This brings dead OP to $73, $69 for SG op, and $77 for Nemesis Prime.

On ShowZ, dead OP is $75 and SG op is $65, Nemesis $60

So ShowZ is cheaper in every single instance if you factor in the 3% points back system. If anyone has their prices too high its BBB on their Nemesis Op.

 

i'm NOT saying BBB prices are cheaper, and yes, i'm fully aware BBB does not include shipping and has be factored in on top of their listed prices. i'm only making reference to the prices of the various OP in comparison to one another on the SAME site.

ie. on BBB H27D < H27B < H27P while on ShowZ H27B < H27B < H27D.

spread on BBB is only $6 between the three, while ShowZ is $15.

as @Phase Sixer mentioned, perhaps it's extra cost for the rush to get this out before CNY and perhaps also increase in shipping costs.

all i'm trying to point out is that it could and maybe should be cheaper for dead OP on ShowZ. personally if i was interested in dead OP, i would shop around other vendors for possibly cheaper options, or wait until after CNY and see if prices drop.

$73 is more than $69, ergo dead op is not lower in price than SG prime.

 

how is dead op at $73 NOT less than SG prime at $77?!?!?

You still aren’t getting his point. He is comparing ShowZ and BBB. His point is some figures are cheaper with BBB but Dead Prime isn’t. ShowZ is cheaper.

You are only talking BBB.

 

I misquoted the price. SG is $69... $69 is less than $73.

Go look for yourself. $57 listed with $12 shipping.

Dead prime is MORE expensive than SG prime on BBB.

The quote actually starts with "on BBB..." so...

 

Shattered glass is also using the Ultra Magnus mold, which is less parts and slightly more simple in design, where Dead Prime is the David mold, accessories, paint, and tampos.

Always shop around. That’s a given. Just be sure you’re buying from a trusted viable vendor.

 

let's just drop the whole BBB reference, okay? using TerryTFS as a reference is prob easier. only a $5 jump between the three stand alone, no trailer OPs. $60, $65 and $70. vs $60, $65 and $75. again i was only trying to point out that i've noticed sometimes ShowZ isn't consistent and occasionally marks up a single release somewhat higher than it should be if you check around and compare other retailers.

this is the last i'm going to reply about this as it's becoming a complete waste of time and i've realized i shouldn't have bothered mentioning it in the first place  

 

It's really stupid to debate which is "cheaper" when lots of retailers have lots of different prices up for an item.
