Maybe, though most Buzzworthy figs are more or less straight repacks with the occasional running change to the figure. Kup and Cliffjumper are something of an anomaly.

And I had heard of the encounter with Death's Head. Is that the time he left him on the roof of the Baxter Building? How's THAT for a crazy crossover?   I know they were all technically Marvel at the time but you still essentially have Doctor Who, Transformers, and Marvel Superheroes!  

I kind of wonder if the BBC was reluctant as I can't believe nobody at IDW pitched such a crossover, and IDW did do at least one Doctor Who Crossover as they did the fantastic Assimilation Squared, Doctor Who/Star Trek crossover. I suppose perhaps the inherently commercial aspect of Transformers could have been a concern for the Beeb? To Sell Toys and all that.

Ah yes, in that part of the post I was specifically meaning toyline.
As for a Titan Metroplex, perhaps, but the whole point of the idea was rather to avoid having to have Titans as Titan sized  

I came in on PotP and I think of the 'Prime Wars Trilogy' I own more toys from that line than either of the other two. Heck I think I own like 95% of it possibly... pretty sure I have all the Deluxes at any rate and most the Voyagers! I am also one of those four or five people who love the PotP fembots. Mind you I also love the Torchbearers, and Takara's Megatronia redeco of them   though yeah Jumpstream's face is a little odd I guess... though kinda wish they'd done an Arcee version of that version of the mold, and a Nightbird off her wife. I mean I guess the Megatronia version of the other car who's name escapes me takes a lot of cues from Nightbird but anyway.

As for WFC Chromia, I don't actually mind the kibble backpack especially since someone said it kind of gives the look of a soldier's backpack... now the neutral faced facesculpt on the other hand...

And yeah, it is a bit odd that they didn't use the Starscream bod for Leozack for that Liokaiser combinr, as even though I only know of him from the wiki, Leozack looks so Seeker it hurts.

Especially when if they wanted to do a recolour of CW Sky Lynx, the Giant Purple Griffin was right there!  

 

As far as I'm concerned, along with OG Marvel comic Star Wars continuity being THE best SW continuity, the Doctor Who comic stories during the last half of Davison's run right through to what I read of McCoy were a million billion times better than what we got on TV - particularly for the Sixth Doctor.

*This picture brought to you by me happening across a post in the Siege Springer thread about a common flash/excess plastic issue, and checking mine for it to find when putting him thru his alt mode paces he's actually fine.
In fact it's reminded me of how much I dig this figure as a vast engineering improvement on T30 (don't @me, it's true, this lad doesn't snap clear tabs off in his forearms if you manage to transform his car mode properly flush - T30's riding the crest of his looks as a Nik Roche portrait of a Last Standing Wrecker in the plastic, yeah, I said it!), and of the fact that this is damned near enough to Operation: Volcano Springster to really slams that nostalgia button in a way his predecessor just doesn't.
I really am actually not bothered I may need to buy him again in a clean/toy deco to get a new Fossilizer, heck, if I can easily do it I'll pick him up if he isn't how we get one of the new Fossil-Bods - I'll take him in "Clean" AND G1 Toy homage deco, please, Hasbro?

Gen Selects toy Springer would be delightful. I actually had G1 Springer but I didn’t know who he was since I got him from a car boot and Armada was all the rage at the time. I think I made him a Decepticon

 

Agree with all of this. Siege Springer is the business.

Except...

Had to do a head swap. T30's head on Siege Springer looks ex-suhl-lahnt and Siege's on T30 likewise. Don't know why I like it that way, just do.
