Finally got the SS Wrecker’s gear from DNA Design.

 

Finally got my DNA kits for Shockwave and the Wreckers. I am kind of disappointed in the paint matching on Shockwave. It's close, but I expected better.

Paint on the Leadfoot thigh fillers isn't a great match either. Is anyone planning to glue those in place? I might because they keep falling out. I don't think it will affect transformation at all.

 

I actually haven't even swapped in the new cannon arm because the purple highlights on the DNA kit cover less than the original and it's pretty dull compared to the original as well.

Leadfoot's leg fillers won't affect transformation so you should be good to glue it. Mine don't fall out at all.

 

Yeah, I'm honestly unsure if I'll keep the new arm attached or not. The left arm doesn't have as much area for it to be noticeable, so I'll probably keep that one on. I did consider pulling out the pins and just swapping the hands, but I don't think that will really work because the new hand has a smaller connection to the wrist than the original hand.

I was really impressed with their set for Grimlock and how well that matched up, so it's a bit disappointing that this one doesn't match up as well.

 

Had a little bit of a nostalgia trip seeing these guys all together when i was cleaning their displays.

I missed when Hasbro and Takara would do nice "Premium" colored stuff but it is what it is.

Hey does anyone remember if any of the leaks said if Crosshairs is a new mold? Really considering that TLK mold…

 

I am disappointed that Shockwave’s left arm from DNA Design does not bend up 90 degrees like the stock counterpart. They went cheap route on the elbow construction.

 

Nothing that I've heard no. Still nothing.

 

Very grateful for this...I met someone who was trying to clear his garage and he gave me a good deal on these guys...

One mans clutter could be another man's "the one that got away" figure. After 12 years, I finally own this Leader Ironhide!!!

Evac looks cool and that leader Starscream!!!!

Its crazy how the level of quality in these TFs will probably never grace the shelves ever again

Glued mine in place and it's been perfectly fine. It's too bad you can't glue the roadbuster ones in.

I actually miss that armor knight figure for some reason. It was so silly of them not to have the shield be formed from the back kibble. Then they DID have a version like that, but it was the wrong shield! Ugh. Still I had a lot of fun with that figure.

 

Haven't posted any pics in a while, been feeling bad, then yesterday tested positive for COVID.

PF Prime is actually pretty good???? The feet actually lock in for once and the battle damage is well applied.
