What alt modes that have never been seen before for characters from any continuity would you like to see?

For instance, I'd like to see Hound have a helicopter or jet mode. I'd also like to see Wing Saber as a saber-toothed tiger/argentavis Fuzor. And Sunstreaker reimagined with a leopard alt mode.

 

An A-10 Warthog for Megatron.

 

Bw Rhinox as a ground sloth.

 

I'd give Elita One a fire tuck as an Earth mode, use Pyra Magna as the basis for the body.

 

Snapdragon as an actual dragon.

 

Hound as a bloodhound.

Megatron's alt mode has always been in flux since having his G1 gun mode literally outlawed, but none of them have really done it for me personally. Instead of seeing yet another tank or cybertronian jet, I think it'd be cool to see Megs be something that evokes the gun mode as much as possible, without incurring the wrath of toy safety regulators.

My suggestions would be either a gun turret, or a railway cannon if it must be some kind of vehicle.

 

Vehicle alts for Beast Wars characters. The organic concept doesn’t sit well with me at all.

 

Where do you stand on trucks with faces?

 

I guess as long as the faces are purely decorative, the style is no worse than that of Cybertronian alts.

Something like this with a differently colored truck. The horse trailer becomes his poncho.

 

A bit of a heavy dump / bump but I didn't wanna make a new thread for something that already had several threads made for it. Basically what I'd think would make great modern day alt-modes for most of the first wave of G1 characters. I was trying to keep track of the names of all the vehicles I found but I forgot to do it with most of them so.. you'll have to just enjoy the images without the specific name / model for now.

Maybe I'll update this post with the names later, maybe.

Just imagine this beauty in red and blue, I think there's something amusing about Prime's alt mode being based on an autonomous truck that doesn't need a driver. So in theory he could drive around without someone in the drivers seat and no one would be any the wiser.

Rather than a scope that becomes his fusion cannon, perhaps the flashlight / laser-sight addon could serve as his fusion cannon.

Some of those aren’t the most modern, but I like that you tried to choose new car models within the same original brand used for the characters.

 

Admittedly sticking within the criteria I set for myself there are certain options I feel less strongly about than others, Soundwave for instance: I really wanted to keep the tape element but due to it being an outdated format I really didn't have that many options. D:

 

Yeah despite being a big G1 fan, I’m one of those heretics that would give Soundwave, Megatron, Blaster, the tapes, and the Reflector trio vehicle alt modes.
