Which would suggest HasTak isn't hurting for sales. At least, not through any avenue that would benefit from you having more info.

The info you're demanding is hilariously early in the process, and a lack of "info" doesn't seem to be impacting sales since, once again, your complaint is stuff sells out. They're not going to let you in on high level product discussions because you are mad you can't find Blaster

You can be mad, but at least admit it's entirely for selfish reasons instead of concern that a product line that consistently sells out is in some kind of danger.

It doesn't, but when you know orders are going live ahead of time, like what they did with Pulse Con 2021, it makes preparation easier.

Like...Hasbros only obligation is to make product and sell it to retailers. It's not their responsibility to make sure that you, personally, are aware of every product they make (that you happen to be interested in) and when and where you should buy it.

Those things can be nice, when it's an exclusive or limited availability item. But they don’t need to guide you through every purchase. As a customer, it's up to you to be aware of what products exist. The information is readily available.

 

It's like, that information is all posted on the front page here, anyways.

Bookmark that, and check in every day if you're going to be so paranoid about it. Not like the information posted there's going to be any different than what the rest of us get. And we all somehow manage to get by.

 

Also, "HasTak need to announce the entire 2022 lineup with preorders now or I'm not going to buy anything." isn't the flex you think it is.

Anyone attending this London toy fair won’t get my money.

I respect their choice to disregard reality and risk literal lives to do something they could do more effectively by other means. That takes guts.

However, choices have consequences just as mine means my collection will stagnate.

Honestly, the quickest way for Hasbro to likely make people regret this request would be to actually dump the full meeting minutes of every meeting every goddamn day of the year until people are drowning in so much info it all becomes noise.

It's the 24/7 news cycle in toy form. People refuse to log-off so any *morsel* of info gets pounced on, ground up, and shat back out immediately.

It's how you have people complaining about how there's been a dearth of news less than a *week* after Skywarp/Iguanus were revealed. Time is meaningless.

 

If it was posted as transcripts that sounds great. That stuff would get scraped and filtered for the important information. If you knew the dates orders went live you could just set a reminder and not waste time checking.

 

It's absolutely delusional to think that you should have access to internal company discussions and planning.

You should PROBABLY sign up for Pulse Premium if you haven't already then.

I routinely get Emails from them about new product pre-orders and product restocks because I'm a Premium member and I tend to get first shot at things like this. It's literally your fuck up if you can't be bothered to spend 50 a year when you probably already spend at least hundreds a year on Transformers toys. Before tax that 50 dollar Pulse Premium membership is going to cost you ~14 US cents a day. Considering how many emails I get and the Transformers I picked up, the GI Joes I picked up, all the things I was able to PO as a Premium Member I don't see a downside here.

Cost is irrelevant. Many of us here are mega fans who spend hundreds, perhaps even thousands a year on Transformers related product. If you spend that much on TF toys and you somehow can't afford or stomach a 50 dollar membership that is absolutely a YOU problem that you need to solve. The cost of me being a member and literally being informed on more toys I have zero interest in is pretty valuable.
