That's... really cool. If this guy had a head sculpt like that I may just buy one. Still, while I'm not quite down for this particular figure, this is the kind of thing I like to see. You know, new stuff. So sick of endless iterations on figures I already have...

I’d love some additional heads, but I’m fine with it as-is.

You obviously read it incorrectly, because he nearly said exactly that.

All opinions are welcome, but no personal attacks, please. Especially when unprovoked. If you’ve had a bad day, go hit the gym or pound the pavement for a few miles. Stressing about comments about toys is completely pointless.

I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings, it was not my intent. I could have said anyone who wants a Hound head for this is a complete and utter moron, then that would have been a personal attack. I said "don't want or need", which is an opinion, last I knew that's what the purpose of these threads are, to share our opinions to gather a consensus on a figure or idea. Your opinion holds no more or less weight than mine or anyone else's here. Have a great day.

Changed the colors i was using a bit. That yellow was too bold. D420CD36-75B6-4437-BA5D-6C766FB12351.jpeg 243F2099-8588-425B-86BE-9008EC4D4013.png

Honestly the only thing I really have to say at this point for commentary is for the nose that I think this angle should be more when he's looking somewhat downward. While facing head on we should see some of the bottom of the nose as it flares out. In other words if this face is looking head on then where the nosetip line is perfect but the sides should be extended down only a little past the tip for where the "nostril" area is.

Other than that I think we have our G1 Bulkhead head.

    Great job, thestampede!

You’re right about the nose. The head is tilted downward and I was a bit indecisive in how to shape it. If it was tilted up a bit more of the bottom of the nose would be revealed.

It would really help sway me into a purchase knowing a G1 styled head like this were going to come as an option for this G1 styled Bulkhead.

If I go back to the original renders, the head looks awful compared to this!! Sorry XTB, it's like some covid mask wearing ape! @ibot, @Grifter Prime - if you can make a head that looks like this, I'll put in a preorder!

This looks excellent. The toothy chin plate fits an 80s aesthetic better than the smooth chin imo. I think the only realistic remold changes that can be done is to somehow bulk up the pelvis flaps either thicken or shorten the thighs to beef out the torso. I'm not sure if that will create transformation or clearance problems though.

If I were looking for custom TF heads, I wouldn’t exclude @Snaku from the list of possible sources. That custom toy-style MP-44 head is nothing short of a masterpiece in itself.

I'll admit, I like this design, I wasn't sure at first but the more I look at it, the more I like it, interestingly the same opinion I had of Legacy Bulkhed.
I would say, as many others have, that the problem both figures have is that, in transforming him into a Military truck, with the cab forming the torso, they are clearly evoking Animated Bulkhead over Prime Bulkhead (particularly this verseion, with the whole back wing kibble thing) and would've been better giving him an Animated inspired green jaw over the Prime inspired silver Jaw, and suspect that, for both figures, upgrade kits will almost certainly include heads like that.

Considering all the extras packed in with Hoist and Trailbreaker, it doesn't seem unreasonable for us to get optional heads that a vocal group of us would prefer to use on this figure.

When did ab crunching become a feature of note?

Since Takara MP-52 did not have it.

Edit: Wait, that was waist swivel, not ab crunch.

Just speculation on my part, but I think the listing might have just been copied from the other Inferno mold figures with some minor edits as appropriate. In that case, 2015 before it was particularly common. I admit I didn't bother to look up a Dante listing to check.

Nope, and actually the list of features has been deleted from the Bulwark listing so nothing is similar.

Looking at these designs for a head that some of you guys designed, it looks like it would be easy to make it using one of the season 1 heads from the MP-44 KO. It would be a good base and simply chopping the antenna and a little reshaping to the face plate and you're nearly there! That is if they dont provide extra heads.
