To everyone complaining about the stand being a major turn-off because of the inflated price, I hope you follow through and don't get the figure instead of getting it then continuing to complain about the price.

Currently eyeing the threezero prime for myself, so they’d have to drop the stand to get my attention.

 

The standbase is useless... More than 200€?? I want zero QC issues with that price.

 

I can't afford it.

But let's be honest, there are figures more expensive than this that people are buying. I doubt those of us that can't get it will have any real impact.

 

A lot of people have been complaining about adding unnecessary base to inflate the price. That's so scummy because it's just a slab of plastic with magnets on it.
C'mon at least make it a flight stand so people can pull the iconic pose.

Well at least they don't add more unnecessary accessories that don't appear in the movie.

200€ is currently $226 USD

No matter how good this is I am out. I think my personal limit was $150 and it would have had to be outstanding. Not sure how good it would need to be for me to justify $226 for it.

 

Maybe due to poor quality??

This reminds me of people’s arguments over how every other game would be seen as terrible compared to Cyberpunk. And then the game released and was a horrible buggy mess everyone stopped playing.

Damn....is $220 shipped or what? Thats a lot. Then again, this looks leaps better than TW and i remember wanting to drop $200 on it before.

I'd consider asking Show-Z how much cheaper shipping would be if they just took it out. At least then we can decide if it's worth the extra $.

 

Well it wouldn’t matter if Showz themselves removed it since the box would be the same size. Unless the manufacturer makes a version without the stand and makes a smaller box, no one can say how much cheaper it’d be.

 

At that point, I'd just ask them to take out the figure, tray and all, put it in one of their custom boxes and let me assume the risk. Shipping is already high...

 

Plus, with the base removed, there might be empty space inside the box allowing things to rattle around during shipping.
