Sweet, I need to spend more time on it. Haven't played since probably the start of December. I unlocked everyone, but still got some ways to unlock all their alternate moves.

Doing a little better on GTAV Online. I don't think my skills are improved much, but been having some fun doing the missions that are worth 3x cash/exp of the weeks. Had enough to buy the mobile command truck, and will probably save more to get one of the properties mandatory to unlock other missions. On a fun side, I did chance upon a mission within the new Franklin storyarc (Storm the studio and take out the gunmen invading the place), which I haven't unlocked for myself since I don't an angency yet. Fun times, and the long party/hip hop recording cutscene at the end was worth it. I might have to push that angency to the top of my buy list.

We're on Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel now.

Sometimes I draw a hand that lets me bring out about four dragons with 2400+ attack points each, and sometimes I draw a hand that forces me to watch my enemy slowly and painfully claw my LP to nothing.

    Ah, nostalgic.

Besides still keeping a steady pace on Animal Crossing and Pokemon Cafe Remix, I've just beaten the story mode for New Pokemon Snap.

ACNH-Almost finished the town redesign, working on the shopping plaza then its just gardening left.
PC rmx-A good game for playing on breaks, just got Garchomp to join.
NPS-I love the life this gives to Pokemon in their environments. The requests can be tedious a bit, but I enjoy seeing what happens. On the postgame areas now then I'll be done it just before Legends Arceus haha.

I got the Mass Effect Legendary Edition a couple weeks ago and I’ve been playing my way through it. Finished Feros and Noveria so far, along with a bunch of side missions.

Played through the originals twice on my X360 a decade ago, the first time making my own decisions and the second time going almost strictly Renegade. Never had access to any DLC on X360 so that will all be new; I already completed Bring Down the Sky (which was disappointingly short).

Both my original playthroughs, I romanced Liara in ME1, so I’m probably going to go with Ashley this time just to be different, but I got to thinking…
I’m guessing the 2 romance options were meant to be somewhat opposite to appeal to different tastes, but I just don’t get how one seems so much better. Liara is a super intelligent, shy, blue-skinned alien who can offer an intimate “joining” experience, while Ashley is a boring tough-soldier stereotype whose defining trait is that she’s basically racist. I mean, I don’t get how ANYONE would want Ashley, but that’s just me :p

Of course I wanted Ashley. My BroShep soulmate. Heck... I think she was an improvement over him.

Then she got shot in ME3. *shrugs*

I gave up on The Outer Worlds. The dialogue was witty, everything else was derivative and repetitive.

I went back to The Last of Us II. I HATE CLICKERS.

Well, Ashley was kind of hot if you were into human females. :D

I was actually talking to my brother about the original Mass Effect earlier this week. He never played it, but I shared a humorous memory I have from that game: "There's this one mission where you can send either a regular guy or a hot chick on a suicide mission. Guess who I sent."

Is the Legendary Edition *that* much better? Was thinking about popping the original ME1 360 version in. Always thought that was the best all-around open world rogue style RPG game of the three. Seemed to hit the basic RPG game design tropes better than the other two.

Well, like I said, Liara and Ashley seem almost opposites of each other so one of them is likely to appeal to most BroSheps (FemSheps unfortunately get no choice).

Sucks that she got shot. TBH, in ME1 I really just wanted Tali as a romance option, and once ME3 came around my BroShep got with her at the first opportunity, but I was REALLY lucky she didn’t go through with her bad end in ME3. After I finished the game I looked at the “points” I had built up with her I had barely enough to keep her alive.

Yeah, the decision would have been harder if Kaiden was actually useful. As the (IMO) weakest squadmate and most boring character, there’s little incentive to keep him.

Is the Legendary Edition worth it at full price…I would say no. I got it on sale from PSN, and I think it was worth it for the sale price. I could play my original X360 discs, but I have 2 problems with that: first, my X360’s drive doesn’t work right, and second, I don’t have any of the DLC. So I went for it.

Oh, I think I could save Ashley. I just went for the kill for principles (joke's on Bioware here, they Barbie'd up her so much she looked like Miranda knock-off). Damn traitor.
    -Saves Mordin.
    -Kills Ashley.
    -Bumps fists with Joker.
-Bioware thinks they're putting a plot twist and a dilemma in the endings.
-Blows up all the synthetics in the galaxy anyway. What dilemma? It's a war. The enemy ought to end dead. I'm so not living through the Marauder Shields to NOT end blowing up something.
    -Hero of the Known Universe.

Finished the Virmire mission last night. Hot damn, that’s a freaking good mission. It really makes you feel like you’re infiltrating a base, you learn a lot more about the bad guys, then there’s the emotional conclusion where you lose one of your own.

Sure, it’s just Kaiden so no big deal, but still…
    :p

My very first time through the trilogy, I made all my decisions based on what I personally would do, and I stayed away from spoilers so I had zero idea what the results would be.

So, by the very end, my Shepard would do anything for Tali, and his final choice was based on that. I had all 3 options available, but I had no clue which was considered the “best” one. My Shepard was afraid the “Synthesis” route would change Tali and he didn’t want that to happen, so he chose the “Control” option so he could be with Tali in some limited capacity.

It actually made for an interesting story…the hero made a choice affecting the entire galaxy not based on what he thought was best for everyone, but what was best for his true love…I’m sure the Council races would be appalled by that :D

Yes, yes it is. Apart from the improved Man!Shep and the now famous ME3 Fem!Shep model being available from the start, the nice new coat of graphical paint and making the Mako....actually that thing is still jank but its controllable jank. The best thing though, is the lack of stupid aiming/weapon use penalties for the non-soldier classes. I ran my first play through of the LE as an Adept, which gets no weapons training. So no, I don't have access to the special powers each weapon has but I can at least aim and shoot them without the aiming reticle jibbering around like Shepard - an elite military operative - has never handled one before Eden Prime.

GTAV Online: managed to save enough to buy an agency, the property that triggers the missions from the newest update "The Contract". Managed to do it before the Feb 3rd deadline, so I should get a $500,000 rebate. Only had enough time to do the introduction cutscenes, but as someone who played through GTAV's storymode back in the PS3 days, it's great to see Franklin and Chop the dog doing well (the in-universe characters age at real-time, so everyone is roughly 8 years older)

Still giving Star Trek Online daily attention, so anyone else that plays, got a message that they're still giving away a free T6 ship voucher for anyone that logs in due to the upcoming 12th anniversary, till Feb 24th.

Another dream machine of mine, playing Donkey Kong Junior! Just arrived a few hours ago. Needs a little TLC but after I get new paint, side art, and t-molding, it’ll be good as new!

Donkey Kong Junior is as difficult as I remember. Can’t seem to get as far, going to be practicing all weekend though :D
