I finally tweaked Devastator into a pose where he doesn't look lopsided and was in the process of taking a pic so naturally my camera battery decided to run out of it's charge so expecting anything to be straightforward where this figure is concerned is clearly wishful thinking  

On the bright side he does look good, the torso feels really solid after all that faffing around getting it together, the arms work really well, the legs are OK when they behave and Devastator looms over other Legends scale figures with suitable menace so there's a lot to like even though it goes above and beyond in it's attempts to make you think the opposite.

 

Would LOVE a voyagerish Slipstream. I'm hoping that Flame toys Windblade gets the Slippery treament. Also, if I can choose, I'd love a less boobsy chest in favour of the cockpit/fuselage

Quick question about BBTS, TFSafari and Robo Toybase - which carrier do their parcels use once they get to the UK?

I ought to know this but am still hungover and my brain just wants to think about Bayformers and Ribena.  

 

@Seeaich Oh indeed, I imagine the Suez thing was a factor. Just thought it was interesting that bits theoretically the same colour could be different plastics. I kind of wonder if some of them are meant to flex a bit more given the pieces in question seem to often be the bits that move around a lot or like the back of the legs with how they fold into the leg in alt mode?

Jetfire was the best part of ROTF TBH. Crotchety old former Decepticon with one of the coolest planes ever built as an altmode and great voice acting  

A non full on power drill 5mm drill seems to be a bit of a holy grail for TF customisers   I need to find one to add some 5mm ports to a fig of my own. I may have to cobble something together myself with just a 5mm drill bit and maybe something to clamp hold of it. I know @Seeaich has mentioned doing it BARE HANDED which seems a really bad idea IMO  

...that mold could look cool in Waspinator colours!

Funny you should mention that as one of the triple changes not used by Hasbro seems to be VERY similar to Switchblade... a blue transformer with Jet and Helicopter altmodes! I think I can see why Hasbro didn't use that one, probably didn't want to be seen as copying MASK  

 

I'm contemplating cancelling my Robot Paradise Acoustic Wave Tapes set with Kapow and getting it from Omegalock instead, since they actually already have it in stock and I can pay it all off now, as opposed to waiting for Kapow to get it in at some unknown point and needing to hang onto £80 to pay for it, knowing there's a good chance - based on vast past experience - that I'll end up not having that money later due to some reason or other. I'd already paid off Acoustic Wave himself so at least if I cancel the tapes they can ship him to me ASAP. Let's hope that all pans out eh?

The blackbird is still my favourite jet, so beautiful. Favorite aircraft is a spitfire. Is there a spitfire transformer, that needs to happen!

I've been going retro for years. I am like you, have all the updates etc. Just give me a game that is complete! Been buying up old games or getting many a rom for my raspberry pi. The final goal is to get an arcade cabinet.

Also, hate all the forced online subs and game play. I have real friends, I don't need randoms on the internet.

Oh, and have a transformer pic or two!

That was a nice read thanks! I remember dropping the U.K. comic around issue 315ish, when it was pretty much all reprint and just didn’t seem worth it when I still had all those original stories! Don’t think I will ever get last issues (in that format!).

Still annoyed that IDW didn’t finish its U.K. classics collection.

 

I bought a PS Mini and hacked it, plays all the retro games I need (whenever I get round to them!). Got all the PlayStations bar 5 sat there too so I'm more than sorted. Apparently Sony are introducing a game pass system so it'll be interesting to see what that does for Plus, Now and any other scams

There was a spitfire guy in tlk hanging out in the uk retirement home. He didn't transform but he did have spitfire wings sticking out his shoulders. Toyworld may have done him as part of their wwii range but I'm not sure.


Finished my og bw shelves. All characters except tigerhawk, tm2 cheetor and tm2 blackarachnia, who i don't want because they look awful toys.


I know it's not the og ba figure, but it's the first one that tried to be screen accurate so it counts. I don't think I'm missing anyone else.
