Oh I know 100% accuracy is impossible, but I mean

They could not somehow make that tank barrel disappear through simply making it detachable?

Not to mention it's a mass market figure that has to deal with a budget. Plus it's really not that huge of a deal, any time I mess with Brawl I hardly notice it, this just seems nitpicky. If I recall correctly he also complained about Rampage/Skipjack including a stand.

Proportion and design wise he is still definitely a step closer to the ILM model in comparison to previous figures (which couldn’t find a place to put the barrel either).

Studio Series Brawl is definitely the most accurate attempt yet, especially proportions wise, despite the silly tank barrel dick.

It's a mind-bogglingly stupid design choice to have left unaddressed, and it's probably the most glaring example of "99% there and stopped" syndrome that plagued many SS and WFC figures, such as 86 Grimlock's hollow forearms and Ratchet's roof rack.

I don't recall ever complaining about the stand - I do recall complaining that they didn't include the quad-leg spider mode, but that was more because I thought pogo-stick mode is a stupid idea, movie accurate or not, and they could have included quad-leg mode purely for stability. Plus I thought quad-leg mode actually looks genuinely better anyway.

That's because the barrel splits and becomes his forearm weapon.

Its presence doesn't actually bother me so much in the final product as it does bother me there clearly wasn't even an attempt. The toy already has two detachable weapons for robot mode, it wouldn't have been that much more to design a detachable vehicle part in that area, maybe even so it could attach to the forearm in an un-split form. But don't sell me a toy claiming it's the most accurate when it can't do something literally every single other Brawl figure did without problem.

Both things can be true, though. He can have one glaring unfortunate, unattempted-to-be-resolved issue and still overall be more accurate than the previous versions.

SS Jolt is similarly the most accurate Jolt yet and has those massive hip skirts that the ROTF and DOTM figures didn't need to resort to having.

It stinks when one glaring thing holds a figure back from being A+, but SS figures aren't the only ones to suffer from this.

So partsforming? Heck, I always thought it was a stretch making the weapons detachable, but they are weapons in robot mode and could theoretically be something Brawl doesn't always have deployed. Having to remove the tank barrel for no other reason would honestly be worse to me than it hanging off his back like 90% of TF kibble does. It's no worse to me than the big wads of turret on the backs of his arms, or blocks of tank tread on his legs.

I'm also very surprised none of the oversized KOs by companies such as Black Mamba have bothered to make it detachable. Sure they've made better articulation but why couldn't they make the tank barrel detachable?

True but to be fair that's a part of Dinobots' design and even transformation in the show that it happens were as Brawl in the movie doesn't parts form at all.

Love this idea so much, especially since I'm a huge Jazz fan. I'll take as many BBM inspired characters as they'll give us. A cybertron mode Mirage would also be great since he's showing up in ROTB, maybe he and Jazz could share a mold.

I'd love a Jazz so I can have the 07 crew in a live action G1 display especially since I grew up with the film.
Same here anything Jazz, Sideswipe, Hot Rod, even Dinobots. Love some Decepticons as well since the Decepticons were mainly seekers. So I'd love a Megatron and more. I'd love them to give us more cassettes since they are open to it like Laserbeak, Rumble and Frenzy, and more. I'd love even if they gave us repaints digibashers have made like Gears, Outback, Perceptor, Blaster and Soundblaster out of Soundwave. But I'd prefer new BBM-inspired stuff more so.
I'd love it as well, maybe make him an actual F-1 racing-looking vehicle to show he was once one. Before coming to Earth. But I'd be fine either way cause I just want more. And since they for the BBM stuff they focused on the robot modes since they didn't have alt modes. I'd expect and want the same here. Robot modes first, alt modes second.
