Do you know who is in each design team? I'm not being sarcastic or asking a hypothetical question. I'd love to know more about who designs what aspects of which figures on a given line. They deserve some credit for the work they do.

Characters like OP, Bee and Megatron are going to sell regardless what line they're in, even if they release 4 different one's that are in 4 different lines around the same time.

With most of the others it's a little different in popularity. Sure most parents will get this Cyberverse version for their kids
because it's cheaper but Hasbro is still probably pushing the remaining SS86 Dinobots back almost a year in hopes that adult collectors will also buy these Cyberverse Dino's to weather the SS86 drought.

It's not like they haven't done this before... So for consumers who don't play this game, it's irratating as h3ll.

 

There are two Cyberverse Slugs and one SS Slug that will all be out at the same time though...

 

I'm weirdly pissed about the tail. I just thought that it was just there to the side you'd fold it out and attach it to the back once he's out... But nope. It's just the whole tail slapped on the back through a peg. C'mon bruh, why did they screw up one of his key design traits?

 

So with that being said, why can't we all benefit from an SS86 Snarl in the near future instead of us likely having to wait until 2023?

Hasbro proved that they do listen to hardcore G1 comicbook fans when they want to, when they released all 3 Leader class Phase 6ers back to back that one year (Titans Return line).

I guess they're kicking themselves for doing this because they've never really done it since unless it's a Combiner set. It was clever marketing at first but the way these freighter ships are quadrupling their prices to ship things "because of COVID". Which is cause for Hasbro going up on theirs, which is making more consumers pass on B list characters that we all may have bought when they were a lower cost, is now going to catch up with them..

As for this Cyberverse Snarl figure, easy pass. But if I spot one I'll let you know in Sightings... 

 

Tail wings would've made this a lot better. Almost an Actionmaster Snarl homage.

 

This is the only image that makes Snarl look decent. He has more personality here than PotP Snarl. Unfortunately every other aspect of Cyberverse Snarl looks terrible to me.

 

did snarl actually hit US retail? no US sightings threads in this section, no listings on ebay, most retailers online are way over msrp if they're even in stock and my first time resorting to pulse it seems they don't even sell cyberverse. why is this toy company making it so hard for me to buy a toy?

 

We don't even officially know the case assortment for his wave yet. It's pure guesswork.

 

Somehow it hit some speciality US retailers. I had mine preordered through BBTS (I know, they usually don't even carry Cyberverse) and it came in in late September, that's how I got mine. Apparently they're getting more, but his current status on BBTS is "Preorder Sold Out".

 

Same. I had to preorder him from BBTS. I never saw him in retail.

I’ll take a Leader Snarl regardless of when he gets released or whether he’ll be part of SS86 or Legacy. I’ve waited since POTP in 2018 for a set of Dinobots that I liked. I can wait another year if that means being able to complete the team.

 

Anyone know where to get one in Canada? All my local stores seemed to skip straight to the next wave with Dead End. And while I want one, I don't really want it enough to spend out the nose for shipping/customs.

 

I think Dead End was the wave before, not after.

But again, that's all pure guesswork. We never got full case solicitations for either wave of the Warrior Class.

 

Ah, hopefully so, I was just going by the wiki, but who knows. I definitely feel like I've seen more people with Dead End than Snarl. Hopefully Snarl gets packed in a future wave regardless. God knows they don't need to reship some of the charcters for the fifth time....

 

I've checked again - I cannot find any full wave listings for the Dinobots Unite Warrior Class assortment anywhere, and the first worldwide retail sightings for both (in Singapore) occurred two days apart, so it could really be either way.

 

Finally opened up my Snarl tonight. Not as impressed as I expected to be. He's okay... But not great. There's a chunk of soft rubbery plastic that makes up the end of the tail that attaches in dino-mode. I don't see myself transforming him often. I can see that rubber part getting brittle and breaking in a couple of years. The best thing I can say is that the robot mode looks a little like Action Master Snarl. He's not bad, but he should be better.
