Ok, so this is something that has been bothering me for a bit... With the NECA movie Donatello, has anyone gotten the ribbon they used to hold his bo staff to his back to stop coming untied every time you look at it?
Yeah. I put a double knot on the ribbon. I might have even put a dab of glue on the knot to keep it from coming undone. It used to come apart all the time.
Just be careful not to glue his bo staff to the ribbon…haha. I want to say I used Elmer’s glue-all or something like that.
2 nitpicks that make me wait, 1 it looks like it's too small for the Humans to fit, April was a constant driver or hanging out in the back so I'd say as awesome as it is it's 10% too small, 2 no catapult, but that's a mute point since I'm not gonna be shooting turtles into the sky but I was really looking forward to that feature in a turtle van. Overall that thing is phenomenal and he did a fantastic job on it, I can live without the catapult but can April and Casey get in? That's a deal breaker
Spotted 2 of the toon Foot Soldiers at Target this morning. Love the fact that they included the Alpha 1 head.
Got my Scumbug & Antrax set today from NECA! Awesome figures! Each is so unique from anything else in the line so far, and look amazing. My only nitpick is that Antrax's wrists are a little weak to hold his 2 heavier weapons one-handed in some poses, but that's my one and only minor complaint. Just waiting on Scrag & the Mouser pack at this point, as far as ordered items go. Wonder what will make it out next? Neutrinos? Tokka & Rahzar? Usagi? I think the Rock Soldier & Crooked Ninja Goon are further off.
I welcome the Rock Soldiers being further out. I need to regenerate funds for their army build. I wonder if NECA will have them available for pre-order, also would be nice to have them available in 2 packs.
I Neca will drop the hammer down next month with some of there planned releases for 2022, as it has been fairly quite. Other then some Rock Soldiers and Usagi, there is not to much left that I want or remember (need to buy the original show or is it streaming somewhere?)
Same, I thought this set would be finished by now! I don't even see any of this set's figures on eBay (besides preorders and Dan), so a part of me wonders if they finished production.
