I think the time has come for me to part with my Masterpiece collection. They've been fun to collect, but as I get older, they just get harder to transform and enjoy :(

I'll be hanging on to my original Hasbro 20th Anniversary Optimus, as well as Soundwave and the bizarrely branded MP-711 Convoy. What I have left is for sale in my signature, if anyone is interested.

Apologies for the sales thread spam, but I want TFW members here to have a chance before I list them on eBay.

I thought it would be interesting to see who and how I've "upgraded" my transformers collection. Some figures have been upgrade and I've still kept them - Green tick while others have come in all shiny and new but have not survived. I find it interesting which companies trump others and how fluid my collection is.

OK problem guys. I got KFC KP-06 upgrade kit and the gun will not go into the hand for the upgrade kit or the original one. Should I sand the peg?

    Whoa.
That's wild! And so cool, you're getting to experience so many different takes on the same thing. Neat.

There's so much to love about this hobby.

Best to ask somewhere in the 3P section, as it's not Masterpiece nor appreciation, so it doesn't really belong in here.

I can help you feel better. Mine are with Hasbro Pulse and they will probably be the last to get them. Till then I'm enjoying everybody's photos.

*hint hint* More photos of Skids.

One more version of one of my Favourite Transformers of All Time. I now have every Masterpiece Thundercracker again. Although without a new version of AM/SG Thundercracker I think the eventual Core figure will be my final new TC. 2A80F9D6-A9B0-458C-9EB8-AB5C3B2C28F6.jpeg 07AE8C21-3AA0-46BC-8C2B-F8922CDDF781.jpeg

I bought at least three of that set and had to sand every one. The base of the peg/tab is very slightly too wide, but be careful you don’t thin the end when sanding.

OK question, is MP 28 worth $150? My friend got one and IDK if it is worth the price.

I paid 7840 yen for mine back when it was released. And that includes shipping. That's about 69 USD according to Google. I personally wouldn't pay more than that for a second hand copy.

A Combiner Hunters deco might be enough to tempt me into that mold, but the traditional pink/white scheme has never been flattering IMO.

I'm getting the KO to attempt a repaint but Arcee doesn't use many screws. Mostly pins, so disassembling her will be a chore.

You need to sand the pegs slightly.

Despite some of the flaws of the mold, it really is quite nice figure, regardless of which version (Tracks/Road Rage/Loud Pedal) you get.

OK so when do you guys think MP Jazz will come out? I think maybe a little after all the train bots come out. Also what do you think his price might be? I think 150-200 would be fair.

I think $120 would be my personal maximum and therefore barely “fair”. But yeah, I think TT will gouge the hell out of us on a character like Jazz.
