I wouldn't expect Powerglide to be anything bigger than a deluxe for the foreseeable future

Oh wow that sucks. Ok well in that case I'd hope he would be a large deluxe. Still though a voyager would be nice to me at least. I feel like they could do that with legacy

Except that's just God Bomber in general. Haphazard. That character and combination are always gonna be jank, even if they're in mind with the initial design (due to aping a design that blatantly wasn't)

I hate to break it to you, but he'll be on the shorter end. The minibots all have been. They're trying to roughly match the show scale and the minibots were all smaller because of their toy sizes.

Commander Lugnut is one of my hypothetical holy grails. I long for the day that it spawns into existence by Hasbro's collective hands.

You're not the only one. Trust me. :lol  That's something that needs to happen along with a deluxe Lockdown with a small voyager height... even if it needs to get the SS86 Hot Rod treatment to make it happen. The fact that those two haven't received more love over the years is baffling considering how popular they are amongst the fandom in general.

I mean even the some of them at largest have been pretty average for a Deluxe size. Granted I'm still holding out for a good Powerglide sometime soon

I'm wondering about the add on weapons being clear plastic too. Potentially they might be, or they might be and also be painted like some of the latest reveals.

RE a potential Thunderclash, please keep expectations low.

This re-use hasn't been confirmed at all. All we have is a note on menasors concept art asking for the cost to include a Thunderclash head for a potential repaint. No mention of retooling/new parts, so think Rotorstorm from Spinister.

    Cheers all.

That would actually work well for me. Reuses like this give an opportunity to show off two modes in my display when I would have had to choose before. I would have Motormaster be part of the combiner, while I'd have Thunderclash be in Robot mode. Even if it is more Menasor than Thunderclush in design, it gives an opportunity to show off the sculpt. I'm currently doing this now too with the Selects G1 Seacons (alt mode) and the BWII Repaint of the same (God Neptune mode).

One of the big disadvantages of getting all the year's listing leaks early is that there is hardly any more news for ages afterwards, and things get really boring on here.

But we are now approaching the time of the year when the non-listing leakers start getting info on the following years plans. So I am now offering the challenge to those leakers- time to prove that you are not just a hanger on of JTPrime! Give us some 2023 hints!

Haha the gauntlet has been thrown by @drmick !

Personally now I'm out of the loop I can't wait for the next set of leaks. I'm wondering if 2023 will be a packed year for generations or a light one due to the RotB movie reshuffle.

Also I know it's a ways off, but I'm really looking forward to finding out what the team are planning for 2024 and the lines 40th anniversary. :)

I'm actually okay with it. WFC has revolutionized my collection and displaced countless pre-WFC figures. It's entirely an all WFC+some PotP+some TR + some CW collection now. There's only a few figures going back to pre-CW left like T30 Metroplex, Drift, Roadbuster and Whirl. And then when you throw in Haslab Unicron, MP-44 Optimus Prime, MP-36 Megatron, MP-52 Starscream, a couple of Fanstoys 3P Mps, a whole lot of 3rd party upgrades, Bayverse Studio Series and a few MPMs, it's been a hyper-expensive 7 years... especially the past 3 (though 2021 was a lot cheaper).

Getting the list has allowed me to think ahead about what I want and what I don't and think about my collection. And Legacy is going to be the line I buy the least from since at least 2011 because I've decided to define that narrowly. The recreations of Diaclone/foreign G1 (like Puffer)? Not buying. The Prime characters? I love love love Prime, but I have their original figures so not interested. Re-releases of TR Topspin and Twin Twist in new retro decos? Not interested. Bumblebee movie Studio Series? Lord they look great, but I can't add yet another sub-franchise when I have so many figures boxed already and I'm thinking of boxing my awesome Bayverse collection.

I could use a lighter year to refine my collection, rather than dramatically expand it as it has been every year since 2014. The shift in my collection has seen it grow from 3 detolfs to 6 to 9, to 7+3 Rudstas as I tried to fit everything in a display worth of it. Sorting that out in a way that looks good and has a theme per shelf has taken months and I'm still not done as I try to fit great figures in without cluttering my mancave more than it is.

I truly of wish Hasbro would officially distribute a "year ahead" roadmap just so this would be the norm, but that'll never happen.

I'd like to see two multipacks of WFC figures a very 35th anniversary esque / Sunbow animation deco.

Set 1 - the Ark: ER Optimus Prime (white legs, properly scaled rifle), ER Ironhide (new feet parts), ER Wheeljack (blue glass, white paint, new accessories), SS86 Jazz (blue glass, snap on accessories), Netflix Bumblebee (bright yellow, Spike minifig),

Set 2 - the Nemesis: ER Megatron (animation deco, new back pistol cannon piece), ER Starscream (animation deco, transformable guns), Netflix Soundwave (animation deco, with Laserbeak, Rumble, Frenzy and Ravage, energon cubes), Siege Shockwave (just the voyager-scale robot, animation deco).

Both multipacks would have foldable paper playsets like that SDCC Dinobot one of the Ark some years ago.

Also a mass release of MP-44 minus the trailer with no paint and just colored plastic (like the US MP-10) at a $120 price point would be amazing. It would be great to be able to transform Mp-44 and not be terrified of scuffing him.

1 combiner a year is an absolute crawl, but the mainline simply does not have 2 Leader and 8 Voyager slots to give. Having a Scramble City subline (or just throwing them in 86 lol) could get us 2 a year. They could also use the Titan spot but the collect em all approach sells better and all that.

All that said I think they're content with the combiners that got reissued on pulse and won't redo them just yet.
