For the little guys’ knees you know you to bend them the other way first? As if you’re trying to completely double bend them back over 90 degrees? Then you can straighten.

 

BTW if anyone wants to do a cel shaded chest insert can they try one with a Decepticon logo on it? I want to see if this would work.

I’d probably use thicker photo paper for this sort of thing as well.

That's exactly what I'm planning on doing and saved a few Soundwave images to give me what I want. I figured the clear tape would be a nice "clear coat" and with @transformer_78's frame to hold it, it would look good!

 

For anyone that has them, are the tapes worth getting? I really don't like frenzy, it is all wobbly already and I know rumble will probably end up the same. But ravage looks incredible and alone it is making me want to pull the trigger, the only after thought is the price (it is a lot for 3 tapes) and the sway of seeing how absolutely awesome the MMC rumble and frenzy look. Also they seem to be getting a reissue.

 

Rumble is definitely tighter than frenzy. Aside from that, it's up to you and what you want in your collection/what you want to play with

Don't get me wrong, I still really like this release

 

My rumble is staying tighter longer than Frenzy did but is looser than when i first got the set. Nothing is floppy loose with ravage but his right front leg has also loosened up. No problems with Laserbeak aside from the crooked backpack which was the first thing I fixed before removing anything else from the packaging. I personally think it's a great set, not without its flaws, but very nice for being a transforming set that fits in Soundwave. When I got Acoustic Wave it was within a couple days that Frenzys legs went floppy loose and he wouldn't stand any way but straight. I thought it was an easy fix cutting and adding plastic washers/shims to the joints to add friction and hes perfect now. The design of the set is great and I recommend it but only if you can deal with or fix the inevitable loose joints as they come.

So regarding the TT birds, why do they do this? (Separate from the body under the legs). See where I circled, why is that part two pieces that you can separate by a mm or so? Never noticed until today.

 

Got the neck extension and knee gap fillers from transformer_78. Very cool! Neck extension gives SW some attitude. Sorry for the low quality pic, but you get the idea.

 

Wife informed me that my replacement from showz (thanks guys!) along with Skywarp have arrived...damn off shore work, couple weeks needs to hurry up.

 

I love Acoustic Wave. The additional head articulation makes the world of difference.

Because Fanstoys doesn’t do tons of accessories. Most of the time it’s a gun and alt face and that’s it, especially lately. The toy parts (if you got them) are far more than they’ve been doing.

 

What are the chances we get a black "Sound Blaster" repaint? I don't have any experience with Fans Toys/Robot Paradise, so thought I'd ask those more familiar
