I hope they make the Skywarp soon, I really want the figure, and I don't have the money to buy the real deal :>

 

So my EG-01 arrived from Lenspie Robot Store(AliExpress) today. Only took 11 days and it was packed ok with minor box damage. I will order from them again. As for EG-01 the paint is nice, joints are tight and at $119 AUD it's a no-brainer. I think it is better value than the no-name KO.

 

The blue eagle has landed! Haven't transformed yet, but it looks and feels fab in hand. The only tell so far that it's a KO is the unpainted eyes, which I'll need to fix so he doesn't look dead.



This is my first experience of the MP-52 mould, which I hadn't been too impressed with from afar (went for Deformation Space Starscream instead) but it's actually really nice in hand - great paint, particularly. The skinny thighs are distracting but otherwise great.

 

Awesome to read. Mine will be arriving soon so this has left me excited! Are the eyes suppossed to be painted or is this just a QC defect

 

whats causing that gapping between the torso and waist on one of them? I’ve seen this in a few different pictures people have posted…

 

yeah, i don’t like the dead eyes, i’ll will have to fix that….

 

Im going to just get a red posca pen to do it…. Tempted to go G1 toy yellow on one of the faces too.

 

it might be the lighting, in the review video i posted the eyes look painted red. i’m confused lol! i might experiment with yellow on one of the faces also. hmmmm

 

Eyes definitely not painted on my Thundercracker - not on any of the faces. Dunno if it was different on Starscream though.

 

I went with Eagle for Thundercracker too, hoping he's shipped out soon.
Went DS for both Screamer & Skywarp (which arrived yesterday).
I too like the over mold of DS better, but I really appreciate having different molds of the same body styles...
(BC/Tak for the Lambo Bros, etc...), so I'm excited to see them all together.

Here I was, perfectly content with my original MP-6 Skywarp, 11- Starscream & my BB7 TC.
Of course, I said the same about Soundwave & Tesla 1.0!  

Thank God I'm not replacing my whole collection with shiny new alternatives!  

 

Painted the eyes, and posed with DS Starscream and (modded) MT Skywarp. Happy!

 

yup looks great! Now that i know the eyes aren’t painted i have my metallic red Gundam marker ready for mine when he arrives. i got a (so far) perfect copy of takara SC, eagle TC ordered, and if i like TC will order eagle SW when the pre-order goes up.  

 

None of us would be here if we had the money lol, 3 seekers for the price of one? Sign me up!

 

Not strictly true for everyone - I bought the official TT Screamer. Love the look and design of the figure, but again on an official product that cost over £200, I had a paint blemish on a knee pad, and loose ankles and knees too.

At that point, why spend big money to have ‘official’ just for the sake of it? I can keep more of my money and buy (in my opinion) an improved figure. Any compromises are so much easier to swallow on this at sub £60 price tag.

It’s like the Yes Model MP-11 figures all over again.
