I'm definitely getting the new Stunticons, but it may just be for bot mode. Toon and Toy Menasor are so different they might as well be separate characters. Bad hips aside, the CW version is pretty awesome once you figure out how to use him. I like the idea of Toon Menasor, but I have a hard time seeing him outdo this guy...

 

I'm loving that yellow. It looks great. It just pops.

That's Combiner Wars with 3P parts added to him. In other words, even he thinks Combiner Wars Menasor sucks when it comes to being stock without add-ons. 

The only thing I like about CW Menasor is that he's Scramble City styled. We won't be getting that in Legacy. 

 

I feel ya. But, if it means more stable, more poseable combiners, then I'm okay with it.

 

So wait, do we know how we're gonna get the hands and feet for Menasor? I take it they'll come with Motormaster?

 

Based on current information. Motormaster’s trailer will transform into the Menasor skeleton and will incorporate the hands and feet (I’m not sure if we know if they’ll simply parts-form or if they’ll be on armatures (or even partial limbs?).)
Either way, to answer your question, yes, it sounds like Motormaster will come with all the Menasor parts.

 

I still have this vague inkling that Legacy Menasor will be able to internally Scramble. Just that he probably won't be compatible with any other Combiner.

 

That's my guess as well.

 

I guess we won't know until the eventual Superion shows up.

 

Defensor is supposed to be the next one, according to our inside leaks.

 

We can definitely use a better Hot Spot.

 

Just about all the CW combiners were pretty miserable failures out of the box due to a bunch of penny pinching decisions from Hasbro:

- Bad proportions (fixed with $15 3p hands/feet)
- Weak combiner joints (fixed with screwdriver and cardboard box)
- Floppy elbows (fixed with clear nail polish)
- Asinine repaints (Takara fixed Blast Off, Nose Cone, and Strafe, no hope for Blades)
- Weak combiner hip joints (3p fixes for Prime / Onslaught molds, custom fix for Silverbolt)
- Stability total fail (Motormaster, fixed by PE kit)

They finally got it mostly right with Piranacon, and Legacy gives them a chance to NOT make us clean up their messes right after purchase.

But with a litte work the CW designs were pretty great.

 

I was fine with Combiner Wars except for Motormaster and maybe Hot Spot. New torso bots with CW compatibility would have been fine rather than have to buy the whole teams again. But I know Hasbro is a retail company and they know if they do one, we will buy the rest.

 

That wasn't an actual leak. That was wreckgar39's personal wishlist of which combiner they want next. They clarified that a few weeks back. Just another round of rumor telephone getting out of hand.
