This I would consider buying. And the size looks fine.

Eh, it's never going to be Bulkhead for me anyway. But sticking a head on it that is an entirely different style than the rest of the body isn't a good choice.

Especially when this was already better suited for the character:

While I think using a military version of the Mitsubishi Fuso as a base for a G1-style Bulkhead is a neat idea, that head design just does not mesh with the blocky G1 character models.

Hmm. The cartoony chin on the g1 styled body is kind of an identity crisis, but i really like how the alt mode looks. I hope more of these pop up down the line, a Starscream would be cool like this.

Huh. I don't want this, and honestly I think it looks bad, but it's a good example of opportunistically reusing an existing mold based on a version of this character they (presumably) just recently became aware of.

This figure pretty much suffers from the same issues that the Legacy Bulkhead figure does, primarily the head is just all wrong...It almost pulls it off...But not really.

Got to love that the only figure in the past decade that actually makes sense as bulkhead, is impossible to find….

Hasbro: Let\'s blow everyone\'s minds and make Bulkhead, but G1 style.
    XTB: Hold my energon.

That said, I would still gladly take a reissue of MMC\'s take on Bulkhead, and I think that thing would sell like hotcakes.

Not as good as the MMC version, but damn it looks good. I just wish XTB was reliable on build. Also wish the Hasbro version had these proportions

This. Perhaps an alternate head sculpt that’s more in line with the G1 angles?

Other than the head it seems to be more on the lines of G1-ified Animated Bulkhead (such as the large brackets up and over the shoulders) who was a military type vehicle rather than Prime Bulkhead who was the off-road truck.

They already put out pre-orders for Hauler (XTB Caravaggio or something close to that), this is an extra use of the mold beyond the standard ones which are all being done already.

I can't remember, was Bedrock a TFCon Exclusive or just available at TFCon first?

Fair enough I guess, but how many people like this design enough to actually buy it?

I believe that is the purpose of this thread, to get an idea. Afterall no one will share their opinion on it if they don't know it is a possibility. There are a lot of people saying no, some really excited, and many offering feedback for what they think would be better and could make it a purchase.

I’d 100% buy an MP Bulkhead, but he really needs to be less lanky with shorter legs. And a less round head. Maybe something closer than this: F5CE5364-C27E-4A5B-8B4A-C9149F4F083F.jpeg
This art is not exactly what I would want from a g1-ified Bulkhead, but it’s definitely the best of the concepts I’ve seen.

I’m still mad I missed the MMC version, even if I don’t love the head on it, either.

I really like this design wise, the only thing I would change is the head, it looks like it doesn't quite fit properly with the overall look of the character, maybe giving him a bigger neck or something might help with the look

Yeah, if I had to make any changes to this guy, I would have a removable face plate with an articulated jaw that is colored green, I overall think the TFA look is better than the TFP as a cohesive design.

Yeah not a fan of g1 styled Bulkhead being a green Grapple/Inferno makeover it\'s just not my thing, that\'s why Hauler exists.

This head here is much better. My only thing is I would get rid of the 3 "teeth to either, one large rising "tooth" in the middle that reaches his nose or simply fill the gaps in the 3 teeth to make it one long plate.

As for his lankiness, I can't recall any of the others outside of Cosmos that got a "body" like that. And if not this particular vehicle mode then what vehicle could be used to give him a wider body while still fitting the G1 era aesthetic?
