He looks like Inferno cosplaying as Bulkhead. Like that head does not fit the body. And like... it's BULKhead. give him some chomk. He should be big burly, not like... standard autobot heroic build.

That's Hasbro being lazy. The transformation style is fine if they wanted to reuse parts but the overall car for Barricade should ahve been a 1983 Mustang:

That, along with a new head.

Were there any G1 characters as wide as Animated/Prime Bulkhead. Cosmos is chunky but small.

Well, I've also developed the bit of head canon the the Barricade that look like Prowl is Prowl.

He's from the Shattered Glass universe, got stuck in the "main" universe by accident. He enabled the bombing that destroyed Bluestreak's hometown to happen.

The real Bluestreak that is, that's another story

Then Prowl took a new name over disgust with his good counterpart

Needs less neck, less leg and more general chomk but I really do feel like I'm going to be all-in on this mold. I hope it's not going to be another QC nightmare :S

I like it. It makes for a bit of a different flavor of a vehicle mode.

I do not like the idea of using the Animated/Prime style head on this body. They should stick with the Omega Supreme in olive drab look.

It if isn't more in line with this:

Then I have the good fortune of saving myself the cost of purchasing two.

The other thread for this (which will probably be merged here soon) someone showed how the ankle actually looks with a picture of Dante. Whether that is good enough or not isn't for me to decide for others.

    I'm with this as a shout--out.

But I think it's past time we start getting some Third Party Animated characters.

I was never big into the line that was primarily G1/Sunbow canon, but I love it when companies do this to shake things up. Like what the Terminator crossover did with Lotty and the Star Trek one with Windblade and Arachnid.

Kinda tempting.  But since I do Gen scale the MP styling would make him HUGE next to the others.  Or perhaps that would work.
Prime face seems odd on a G1 body.  Now that the shock has passed, I kinda dig Hasbro reverse engineered a G1 take that Prime/Animated Bulky would have grown out from.

I gotta be honest— I really like this. In fact, I like this more than I would a TFP-accurate MP Bulkhead. That’s not going to be the popular take on this, I’m sure, but for my interests, this hits the target.

To say that I'm not impressed by those tiny ankles is an understatement. I have a preorder for their Grapple and if the ankles are the same, I am going to cancel it.

Truck mode is beautiful but that robot mode just doesn't work for me.
Too many straight lines to then have the super round bulkhead head, looks like a Popeye head.
Also, it just looks like the obvious Inferno/grapple base mold retool, making it seem like he isn't being done justice with having his own unique body.
