I can't make a commitment on a placeholder artwork like this, but I would definitely consider it depending on how the actual figure looks. Like @Hicks_Royal this art gives me an Omega Supreme feel which appeals to me.

Decepticon logo stickers. Since it is a 3P figure you can put whichever symbol you want on your figure.

 

I'm interested in this more than the Hauler/Artfire version of the mold. It gives more variety than simply giving us a crane or a firetruck

 

The head is the most important part IMO. While the Legacy figure is a G1 style the head isn't and is basically from TFP. They didn't even bother to try to get into a mindset of how a 1980s designed Bulkhead figure would be and the image in the first post is a better reflection of that.

Kudos to XTB if this is real.

 

at least show off a render or something. they literally took fan-art from 2013 and edited the name on it.

Bulkhead is one on my shortlist of non-1 characters I'd be keen to get G1esque MPs of. Bookmarked!

 

@Grifter Prime If XTB are considering the idea of creating G1-esque versions of non-G1 characters, I'm all in. Skullface posited this idea in a video a couple years back, and I was intrigued. Bulkhead is a cool starting point, since he'd be a retool of the Inferno mold, so easier to get off the ground. But a few others to consider:

Drift - he could be repainted into Deadlock, too
Tarn (Fuck it, ALL of the DJD!!)
Windblade, which could be retooled into...
Slipstream
Straxis (I guess he was technically G1, since he was from that era's comics, but he was never in the show.)
Impactor (Same situation as Straxis, though arguably made way more important through the IDW comics. Plus, there'd be a theme with Bulkhead.... #wreckandrule)

I always thought that nostalgia played a big part in finding some of the G1 characters designs "pleasant to the eye" and not because they looked cool per se.

 

Hated the idea when Hasbro used it, Hate the idea more as an MP mold. remold no problem, that's actually fine. But don't waste a new mold on this idea.

Someone give us a REAL MP bulkhead.

 

Looks like a bulky Inferno/Artfire/etc. I'll keep an eye out for this.

I kinda dig this, damn my wallet! Not too sure about the head - looks like a big surgical face mask. He's fighting Deceptions and Covid!

 

Agreed, I do think there's room for improvement in the head sculpt. I'm seeing a lot design cues taken from both Prime and Animated for the body but for the head I'd like to see two sculpts. One that leans harder into Animated and another that leans harder into Prime.

I love this bot and think it has a LOT of potential for this and future releases that could be other non-G1 characters made up like this.

 

I wish the chest could split like this and move up some to mimic the look of the Prime design a bit. I know it's a lot to ask for a retool like this but I think it would add a lot.
