Hello There! Today, I made my first mold customization, and i hated to do it, it is horrible to drill a figure, but must admit, the result is awesome! the sad part, is that I will not be able to use the gimmick again UnU

    Thanks!
I’m kinda uncomfortable with the mud, it kinda looks too fake, but I might leave it like that for a while!

I think the mud color, and attempt, looks good but it doesn’t seem like tire spray. It a little too thick and needs direction. I’m not saying I could do it better (which I can’t) but just analyzing what you’ve done to help improve it. Dry brushing a few other shades might help or maybe try removing small spots.

I think it doesn't look that bad. Just put more on to make it more uniform. Especially on the tires and bumpers. But right now it looks like he drove through mud and afterwards through a huge clean puddle or shallow river.

What other people said - the mud effect in and of itself is fine, it's just that the mud isn't splattered in a "logical" manner - there isn't any on the running boards or wheel wells or tires like you'd expect.

    Hehe. Poo poo boobies. Poobies!

Looks good! I'm not usually a fan of weathering like this but the bronze adds to him a lot! Great job!

Biggest thing you can do is get some reference photos and make a plan before you start. Just search for "muddy trucks" and have the images open while you paint.

But the depth of the paint helps the illusion!

I remember doing something similar back when I first got this Bulkhead. I think it's a big improvement over the spring-loaded weapon.
