Wow, that is some Grade "A" Bullcrap right there. I'd dispute that charge with your bank or credit card for sure! To be honest, I didn't know Wal-Mart used Door Dash for deliveries. Where I live relative to my local Wal-Mart, I don't qualify for delivery but I know a friend of mine tried to use the delivery service when she ordered near a $100 in groceries. Two days and her order never showed up. I know she contacted Wal-Mart and they tried telling her there was nothing they could do that it was between her and the delivery driver. I never found out what ended up happening but I know that story (and others I have heard about including yours now) I don't think I want to try to use it. I'll just go to the store or stick with the curbside pick up at most.


Speaking of Wal-Mart stores, I went to my local one this afternoon and it looked like there were hardly any toy clearances unless they just haven't put out the clearance tags. Surprised that Rodimus Prime and the BW reissues are still at full price considering they are clogging the shelves since before Christmas. Wonder if the lack of clearances might have something to do with the whole shipping situation still being up in the air.

 

Honestly its really insulting that the toys are shelfwarming in stores and the sale was online only. Like, come on.

 

Not to mention all of the additional reissues that are about to be returned due to the recent multiple online price drops. Just price match, Walmart. Wtf. If I had to guess which overstock will be showing up at Ollies and TJ Maxx next, I'd put my money on these reissues.

 

Yep. If Walmart ever doordashes one of my orders for delivery from one of the ones in town, that will be when I quit using Walmart services and transfer my prescriptions to Walgreens or CVS or Kroger. I've had too many bad experiences with door dash. Last draw was a food order from outback that never came. They did the whole 2 driver thing. The first picked it up and never delivered. The 2nd showed up at outback and then outback called me saying they already gave food to another driver. Then talked to door dash. They refunded my money and gave me a credit and I said no thanks because this happened too often I don't get stuff, or it shows up and they don't even let me know (had an order sit on my porch for an hour because they didn't knock or text). Cancelled my door dash account that night and never used since. So if ifbi ever get something from Walmart not usps, FedEx, or ups I'll be done with them too. That's the worst decision in the world for Walmart to go into business with door dash.

 

The shelves at the stores here are just littered with BW re-issue figures.

 

The Walmarts in my area are horrible when it comes to clearance. I have seen crap that was “found” in the stockroom with figures that came out years ago at full price too.

 

I ordered my dad a PC during black Friday using the Walmart app and the doordash was delivering the PC and we get it and then we open it and we the there like this stick pink liquid substance in the box and outside and there's also a piece missing, that was the dumbest way to deliver a expansive tech, but few weeks later I ordered the 3rd spoiler pack and they delivered by USPS

Some changes with Walmart.com and Walmart brick and mortar over the past year kind of suck now.

• They stopped doing free site-to-store shipping
• They removed all the price check scanners in the various aisles of the store
• The app doesn't show the local price of something for the store you are in. It only gives the online price.

Now it's more difficult to see if stuff has gone to clearance. I used to always just scan stuff on my app to see if it got marked down recently. Sometimes I'd find something went on clearance and they didn't move it to the clearance aisle and/or there was no clearance sticker on it.

 

Noticed the same. Thought it was just me or my store.

 

I'm sure these changes save the stores money, customer service be damned. On recent re-models, they've also been tearing out over half of the checkout lanes and installing self checkout stations instead. God forbid they pay a human being to do a job that we can do for them. Pennies saved!!!! I absolutely hate Walmart.

 

The app has been showing me in store price, clearance included. It just has to recognize what store im in. Which can be hit or miss as I never have a good signal inside the depths of a walmart. Really dont care to use their free wifi either.

 

Lol, the price checkers are always out of order, no matter what Walmart you go to. I bet the ones at my local Walmart probably hasn't worked properly in years.  

 

Just make sure when you open the app the main page is a LOT more yellow than normal and it has figured out what store youre in, then itll show you in-store price.

 

I stopped by Walmart yesterday and noticed that they had price tags for Studio Series leader class Shockwave and Scavenger. I didn't see any on the shelves but I am certain that they're new tags because they're at the new leader price point ($52.99) and were placed on top of old tags for Kingdom Leader class figures. Given that BBTS just recently restocked this same wave, I wonder if they're quietly putting out a second run of this wave, maybe as filler until Coronation Starscream is out. Either way, may be worth keeping an eye out for the next couple weeks.
