Chiming in here to say I also hope the line isn’t canceled. I’ve bought every PF Movie release so far and they’ve all been tremendous improvements over their retail counterparts. PF feels, to me, like what their Takara versions would’ve been; I welcome them like I’d welcome an old friend whose parent (brand unification) decided we shouldn’t play together anymore.

Since the silhouettes were revealed, my most anticipated releases have been ROTF Prime and Jetfire. Can’t wait to see what those excellently-detailed figures will look like with the PF treatment! I know it’s a long shot, but here’s hoping they bust out the as of yet unused maskless head for Optimus.

 

Ah well, it was terrible while it lasted...

Indeed, the concept itself is a good one, it was just executed very poorly. I can think off the top of my head at least a dozen figures that the fans have been clamoring for a 'better/more accurate' repaint of, and yet, HasTak chose some of the most pointless figures to put into the line. The prices didn't help either...

 

The reveal image for the PF line had pics of the future figures in black silhouettes, the last two (hopefully) being 07 Prime and Jetfire when brighting up the image.

 

This joke is really getting old..

Where is everyone hearing the line is canceled? Was hoping for a Bayverse Prime. To my dying breath I will never understand why they clogged up slots with shelf warmers like Magnus. They just keep churning out repaints of the guy over and over again clogging up clearance.

 

It's not cancelled. It was just slated for a very limited number of releases.

Well, he’s wrong about Springer being in the line and the line has nothing to do with Sunbow either. So definitely taking that with a grain of salt. Only two more waves to go so it’d be pretty strange to throw in the towel now.
