You kno I just noticed that when Bumblebee arrived at Sumdac towers an saw Starscream it looked like an exact replica from the '86 movie where Hot Rod saw Starscream an the Decepticons in a hole in the Shuttle on the way to Autobot City

 

If I had to nitpick, they spent way to much time doing the whole "handheld camera" effect so many times in the episode, and Megatron's head seemed to fluctuate wildly in size.

So if Starscream then tried to kill Megatron neither of the others would find out? As you say Lugnut would never have believed him and Blitzwing does have one "smart" personality. Starscream wants to be Megatron, not be known to have killed him. His machinations are more devious than that.

Great episode. I honestly have no idea how the bots will win.

 

Man, what a great episode I wished it didint have to end when Megs showed up.

Man, this wasn't just a great 'Con episode, the 'Bots got some great exposure. Interesting how when everything's all good they get alone like they're best friends, but when real trouble comes up it all falls apart. Prime having Ratchet take Sari's key was especially disturbing: Here's what most of us have wanted Prime to do since before Animated even aired, and yet why is it sad? Prime and Bumblebee insulting eachother felt nice and real, just like you'd expect from a quality show. Lugnut and Blitzwing were fantastic at the beginning with there back and forth and continued to be so throughout the ep, and Starscream's performance was flawless, both in response to Lugnut's praise and upon finding Megatron alive. I love how he pestered Megatron while he sat next to the formers head, thinking he could not retaliate. Which is another nice little exposition, showing that even as a head Megatron has kept his power. Also, his new body is badass.

Decepticons... man, lets look again on how that's shaping up:

Lugnut and Blitzwing are once again loyal to Megatron

Megatron (who for the first time since perhaps BW (and even then he had his moments) is a real danger and uber powerful.

Blackarachnia and Sari team-up for revenge.

Dinobots are more content to fight amongst themselves than aid the Autobots.

Ratchet has been disarmed and dis-armed. 

Part two is gonna be BRUTAL.

Me too. Banter like that and Lugnut just pushing him over reminded me so much of Beast Wars. Blitzwing is the best.

Look at the bright side, now Part two has Megatron there from the beginning and doesn't start half-way through a fight.

Oh I haven't!  What do you want to bet he'll bust out of the sewers in his body with Laserbeak after collecting parts for a new, more stable one after "Sound and Fury"? Remember, Soundwave thinks Megatron is the best thing since sliced bread and I can't see him not returning after how S&F left off.

You're kidding, right? This is exactlywhat G1 Starscream would have done, only with better animation and a cooler looking Starscream.

No, she wouldn't have. The only reason Sari ran away was because Prime took her key. She would have never have met BA again and probably just have it stolen by Lugnut and Blitzwing anyway, only she might not have survived that encounter. Prime did the right thing. The 'Cons were gonna get the key no matter what.

The reason i think SS did not shoot Megatron is? Megatron knew SS was not going to shoot him. If Megatron thought SS was a threat he would have used something to get him. He could have ordered Lunnut to stop SS. Megatron knows SS is a coward. SS knows still fears Megatrons might. SS is a backstabber he will backstab you not just shoot you in the face up front. He probably wants to obey Megatron until he get what he wants.

But yeah, why didn't Starscream kill Megs when he had the chance? He's fucked unless Megs forgives him....

Hopefully the Dinobots will team up with the Autobots and have a massive G1 style battle.

 

Starscream saw that he was top-dog, and knew that sitting there talking to Megatron while (Starscream thought) the latter could do nothing was torture to him. He was just being typical, over-confident Starscream that we've all known him to be, being an ass to his boss.

 

Man, Prime losing faith of himself as a leader, Megatron returning, Starscream lost his chance to slag Megs, where he at his most vulnerable, and the Dinobots kicking their own asses. lol Man, cant wait for part 2, to see Megs alt mode and maybe Prime stop being a dick and start kick Decepticon ass. 'nuff said.

 

Whoever made the point about the Autobots falling apart under the heat was absolutely right. I really liked this episode, but I'm not a fan of Prime complaining about being a leader in front of the people he's trying to lead.

Megatron's reformatting was the coolest such sequence in Transformers yet (beats Galvatron's from the movie easily) but what freaks me the most is Sumdac's fate; one moment Megatron closes his fist on him, the next his hand is restored and empty! So was he killed, or absorbed, or what?
