If extra guns were included (a la GI Joe), this figure would cost $15. Did Hasbro announce new core prices?

There may be some healthy skepticism in there, but there's a whole lotta panic in there as well.

This isn't the first time something like this has happened, where something wasn't shown right off the bat and folks popped a blood vessel over it, only for the item to be there all along, and this won't be the last time either.

Time will tell.

 

Let's see if this new combo-weapon gimmick is as well advertised as the map pieces in Earthrise or the cards in Kingdom....

Ehh...sounds like something more for the MP line? I mean I'm not G1 buff but I never heard of that, and that words "bouncer bomb" aren't even found on Skywarp's tfwiki page.

TFwiki DOES have a page just for the bouncer bomb (yes it mentions Skywarp) and it's pretty hilarious.

You're purposely playing semantics when the line is predominantly parents buying for kids.

Because they make a $100 Paw Patrol tower. Which is a toy line for kids under 10. Guess who wants that, and who buys it for them.

 

Different weapons doesn't mean it's incomplete. It just means it has different weapons.

 

Which would only prove HasTak right that despite complaints older fans will still buy these and supplement them with 3P accessories.

I think masterpiece exists for that purpose. Not every figure has all the weapons it is known to have.

 

While I wouldn't say this is super likely, I wouldn't be shocked if the next battle pack (Target Red Cog) contained some of these Core weapons in an exclusive color

 

With how popular the two Accessory Packs have been I'm surprised we haven't seen more. They seem like something they could churn out pretty quick.

 

I would like to see a reissue of the first pack one day: it was a missed opportunity for me.

I kinda wonder if we will eventually get Tigatron's gun colored for Cheetor, Shadow Panther and Nightprowler (the 2nd and 3rd one's being far less likely)
