It would be epic if so. It would be my first combiner ever and I saw the size of Zeta's next FT-10, he dwarfed him and FT-10 isn't a small robot.

They announced the last 2 arialbots and still no thing about the combined mode.
Or maybe it'll take another 2 years before they show off bandit, then its plausible

 

I’m actually hoping that part of the delay was an alt mode redesign. Of all the original pics, Bandit was the only one that didn’t quite do it for me. The back of the vehicle looks bulbous IMO.

 

They had early prototypes of Soundwave and Trailbreaker they later redesigned.

Maybe they'll do the same with DE (less kibble, sleeker look, etc.)

 

Don't need them to redesign the alt mode, by doing so can mess up the cohesiveness to the other cars since they aren't that accurate to begin with.

 

I believe the reason for the delay of the combiners is because of COVID-19. The price increase in the industry and shipping. Supply and demand but when the supply cuts into your profits... something has to give.

 

FT has managed to release quite a few figures since Covid began.

 

Ditto. Exactly the same issue for me, I think his face sculpt was also a bit off. Particularly jarring as he was my favourite of the limbots as kid.

 

True, but I think it has more to do with the skeleton being part of the last bot for Menasor (jacking up the weight, cost of materials to produce, cost of shipping etc.).

 

That and or the weight of it combined and the joints my have issues?

 

One day all will be revealed gang.

One day the wait really WILL be over.

One day the preorder will go up for Bandit and this forum will jump by 10 pages per day.

One day we really WILL see the engineering sorcery behind how the Marauder skeleton works - and what it looks like as a secondary trailer.

And I think on that day we'll all breathe a sigh of relief and be glad we kept the faith and believed that Fans Toys finished what they started.

Here's my question. I am a recent discoverer of this black hole that is 3rd Party figures. I bought Spoiler and Smokey because I liked the figures only to find out after the fact that they are part of a combiner (I know they are part of Menasor but I didn't know that the FT figures were going to actually combine). Now the question is.....will they re-release 31-A and B? I obviously missed the window to buy them, which seems to be the case for me constantly, they go out for preorder then disappear into the aether forever. ? I can only find them now on E-barf for an extraordinary amount or they are from China, which makes worried that they are just chinese KO's. If they are legit....why are they only available on E-barf from China? I really want to complete this collection but i'm not dropping $800 in two figures. What do you think....will they re-release the previous figures or am I SOL?

 

in no particular order:
- FT will probably reissue the other combiners (just take care with prices, Motormaster for example would possibly cost 300 USD if reissued now)
- Chinese stores still have some, but several would be used ones
- Don't buy FT on Ebay unless you know what you are doing
- There's no FT KOs

Yeah, if you don't know what I mean, its better to use only the part "Don't buy FT on Ebay".

Anyway, buying FT on Ebay, in particular for Chinese stores, can be a real gamble and a lot of the time you would get Lego figures (even from historical "good" sellers as they can suddenly change from a good to a bad seller on Ebay for several reasons). So, unless you have a compelling rationale to buy there, it would be better to avoid it.
