Definitely not. I always cringe when I see this type of pictures of an Autobot. But in this case, maybe its just someone who has been reading too much IDW.
I dont think you're supposed to take it too seriously! Just people having some fun with the figures. I don't think Autobots and Decepticons would hang out having a breakdancing battle either, or form a rock band, but i thought those pics were fun too.
Haha. No I get that. There’s always a balance between taking certain things not too seriously and sticking to certain values/ideas of life. I mean these are just fictional characters and toys, but my 'good vs evil' perspective applies everywhere (and is far removed from the postmodern IDW narration). Especially when it comes to unnecessary violence. That said, if I am honest, this picture isn't so bad. In fact, on first glance I actually liked the picture (it's always funny seeing Starscream being strangled). But eh, I guess Winstobot's post just activated my pet peeve. I do love seeing Autobots and Decepticons having fun or working together though.
It always amazes me how perfect they got the alt mode, almost like there was a car manufacturer breathing down their neck forcing them to get it right - except this is one of the few MPs without a licensed alt mode. And while I like the toy we got (can't wait to get Nightbird), I do wonder about how things might have turned out if they were willing to let the alt mode suffer a tiny bit to help the robot mode be a little bit better.
The Combiner Slayer is from Beast Hunters Optimus Prime. Her blue energy swords are from an Attack on Titan figurine that I found on clearance and customized.

Looks like faces too? I mean $80 is steep for some small parts, but they do look to improve the aesthetic. Normally that's what a whole figure costs!
It is a whole figure. KO with different chest and faces. There's a thread in 3P section. To me it looks like they took a great looking alternative chest, like @MC Rap Throne's, and for some reason pinched all the edges into sharp points! It seems nobody can resist trying to add some kind of shapeliness to the chest that isn't needed. I'll wait. Faces don't look great in the renders either. Still will be interesting to see how it turns out. They also stole a bunch of people's artwork for the box!

Yeah... TMReviews on YouTube has a pretty good tutorial that doesn't make it seem TOO hard. Or you can always buy the KO that already has a custom chest.
