That works really well too, if they made a SS Glyph from that mold (I doubt they will) you could perform a head swap.

I feel SG Jetfire could stand in sorta well as a Cyberverse Astrotrain.

 

I could see that working as a hybrid of G1 Roadbuster and Super Link Roadbuster (Energon Ironhide).

 

He’s too big for that sadly.

Confession: I’m doing one of those fics where the Vok turn the Beast Warriors into humans to get them to stop fighting but I’m adding the twist of them being reincarnated as humans in a modern world setting specifically the EQG world which includes human counterparts to the transformers alongside the human versions of the ponies. Basically they’re sparks are reborn into their human counterparts.

however they eventually figure out they can transform back into their old bodies through a Kamen Rider/Super Sentai transformation to parallel the magic girl transformations of the Equestria girls.

Waspinator sick of being evil decides to become a superhero. Yes this is a total crack fic.

Also Optimus Primal and Megatron are now half brothers (same mom, different dads). Their relationship is similar to Rusty and The Monarch from Venture Bros.

Part of the fun in reincarnating them into humans is seeing how many characters I can make related to one another.
