From the comparison images I saw earlier, I'm convinced they've been redesigned to some extent. How much, I don't know. It seems the backpack area and possibly the combiner shoulder were both changed, so I would guess they've rearranged some parts to make it more streamlined.

And yes, I agree that all of the 2022 releases are ones we've seen already. There are a lot that are coloured prototypes and many more that are physical prototypes, so it seems unlikely we'll see more combiners this year. If we do, it'll be Slingshot and only Slingshot, I would expect.

I am almost of two minds on these, having sold my original three a while back. How much will these cost? How much will reissues of the first three cost? I paid £80 each for Skydive and Air Raid, £100 for Silverbolt, and at the time thought that too much. Given the state of things I expect these'll cost double that, reissues and all, which is more than I'm willing to spend on a single combiner.

So I guess I just need to remind myself of that, and forget these POs. I do already have Superitron, who isn't perfect but good enough for now considering the low cost, but as I said unconvincingly before, I really do just want an MMC set of these guys. Smaller, lower cost, all-in-one as possible.

EDIT: I did just order the last three legends Zeta bots as well  

 

Can we infer from the new photos the combiner hand comes included with each arm-bot? there seems to be little to no chance that its all-built-in like they do so well at MMC.

It won't be built in, but as far as being packaged with each arm, I doubt it. We didn't get a foot with either legbot, my guess is that it will come with the Superion skeleton.

 

Wouldn't surprise me if they include the hands to give us hope...

Seeing that the FT cliffjumper sold out today in about an hour, you'd be better off securing the PO on bombusbee and then still try to get it with showz

 

I didn’t bite on the FT Aerialbots, but this has me tempted to splurge on all of them.

Truthfully I’m just waiting for a Dead End reveal to complete my FT Stunticons. (A combiner-skeleton can wait, I love the individual bots enough to be extra patient   )


Speaking of FansToys, I was able to PO Jazz, but any chance more pre-orders could go up for Mirage? Couldn’t snag him before sold out.
