I'm interested to see what inflation is going to do the price of my 4 year old pre-order.

 

Do you know the height to the tip of the wing in bot mode? I'm afraid it's not going to fit my 10.5 inch self unless there is a way to set those wings lower.

 

Does anyone know if these two images are of the same toy?
If so how does the blue plastic look in person? I much prefer the darker, more vibrant blue.

 

the wings can actually fold down lower than the head. you'll be fine if you can clear 10"

 

Can the tail shield do anything else other than sit on his shoulder? That's the biggest knock for me. It doesn't really look like a good shield.

Why wouldn't it be? It's just lighting effect. Also note that in some pictures, D-Zef was hand painted, and others, it's the colored sample.

I think that's oversaturted, and probably done while digitally editing that photo.

But, you can trust that HardReturn's photos on the previous page are reproducing a more accurate color, and which I think is happy medium.

FWIW, it is accurate to the show, box art, and toy, although I see it more on his right shoulder checking on the TFWiki, which... is not exactly advisable when fighting right handed!  

Tho, while consulting TFWiki, I was reminded of the "Living Metal Destroying Cannon," and that led me to the funny idea of remolding Cynicus into the LMDC!  

 

I can tell you that I attempt to make sure the color in my pictures accurately reflects how I see the actual physical object. I think that's super important for preview/solicit shots. So the physical copy I have in hand is accurately reproduced in my photos. I can't speak to the other photos, and what they have in hand.

 

Well one of my tabs that connects the dragon legs to the body on my Ismenios broke so.... I guess that's a small sign to preorder this guy. Maybe I'm reading into it and just want an excuse to preorder lol

 

The photographer who did the second picture likes to up the saturation in all his photos so the real blue is a lighter color like the first picture.

I'd say HR's latest two photos most accurately represent Dzefs materials. As we did indeed go with a lighter blue for the IDW version.
