A lot of us are hoping. I’ll buy both colors.

 

I kind of regret buying the metallic red version as the rest of my Giga Dinos are chrome. I should have waited...

 

So I take it the difference is noticeable

 

I should have waited for toon Dino's in a slightly smaller scale. But well I already have 4 of the 5. Can't say I'm really pleased with them. They're just too big for my collection... and my house.

It is to me. Additionally, he doesn't match with the rest of the Giga Dino's since the others are chrome, brilliant and stand out and metallic Swoop is just gray.

I love their size. They're physical-looking, tower over the rest of the Autobots and imposing. That's the way the Dinos should be, but maybe that's just me.

I'm still on the fence about Superator, though, because his reviews weren't all that good. Thus far, I've stuck with Reximus Prime as my Grimlock.

 

I had Reximus with the other dinos before Sups came. And my initial reaction was that GP's Grimlock was kind of an anti-climax. He was really similar to other Grimlocks and besides the matching finish, he was just ... Grimlock. That's a testament to Reximus' presence. BUT ... it's been over two or three years since Sups release and I messed with him recently and I'm glad he's in there with the group. I forgot about his heft, build quality, and he is Grimlock. I like that they all match fully. Appreciate him more now.

And, blue Gaudenter still looks the part but he was definitely my least favorite GP executed bot. The side waist covers that retract were a royal blue pain in the butt for me. And because of his hollow chest he felt less stout than all the others. He makes up for it in looks and wingspan, I guess.

 

Superator is probably the single most impressive piece I own.

100% worth getting.

 

He’s my favorite GP so far.

But only by a smidge . . . the whole set is just so badassed.

 

Who can make me a customized toon head? I can't stand looking at his ugly face anymore. It's a damn shame because I really like everything else about this guy.

 

Hey do you still have the extra parts for the feet? Both of mine snapped, fresh out the box first transformation!

 

I’m very surprised at the demand for these Giga figures, I assumed once these were sold out Giga was getting out of the TF business. Seemed like everyone wanted FT to reissue their Dino’s and that would fill all that demand. I bought 2 sets of these Giga Dino’s way back when as seemed no one wanted them.

 

Not me, I never wanted any of the FT dinos. The FT dinos were too small and the GP dinos looked much better to me over FT. Thankfully I had the one benefit of starting to collect after both sets were released so I could compare them all before I went in on a set.

 

These are the best Masterpiece scale Dinobots out there. FT Dinobots look so faded and bland in comparison. FT are known for their bright and vibrant paint on their new stuff, but not on the Dinobots. So it just seems like a role reversal. I can’t see why anyone would go FT over GP unless they are just a blind FT fanatic. I’m not brand biased, I’ll buy the best representation I can find!

 

If you ever find somebody, let me know. Except I want a toy visor face.

I've got a 3D printer but I have zero experience with head/face sculps plus I couldn't sell enough of them to recoup my design time/costs.

 

If it was good, you might. I don't know anybody that's happy with that face design.

 

If anyone has replacement hinges for Gaudenters feet, I'm definitely interested. I'll pay of course. It's a beautiful figure, but the plastic hinges that connect the feet to the inside of the calf, are like butter. And the screw is so tight. Broke both on first transformation.

Do you have any extra parts? My feet broke off, the same issue that everyone else had I guess. I wasn't aware of the issue, and I'm willing to pay. I've emailed giga many times, with no response. Kinda messed up considering I bought all five!
