Nah, BBs legs are also fully painted. I'm not worried about this spot at all. This is clearly not a final copy.

Yep! The little hinge in the thigh is bare plastic, but the rest is paint.

Took me several rereads to figure out that you meant to type "The only place that most of them belonged was the race track in The Autobot Run episode."

Thanks for testing out my brain's ability to extrapolate from incomplete data.

Thanks for deciphering my wacky message. That “M” was certainly elusive.

I finally got the chance to handle Cliffjumper. I think it is surely a successful remold. The photos of him and Bee might be too many, I just want to make sure this contrast to be as detailed as possible.I hope you guys can find what you would like to know in the uploaded file.

Though I carefully transformed it 3 whole rounds, I still can’t see the Tomy stamp mark. I am not 100% sure if this is due to it is a test shot. I need to ask a friend of mine who has collected test shots and prototypes of transformers to see whether if they just don’t have that mark.

Could you post a close-up picture of his face / head? It looks different (better).

Awesome, thanks a lot for posting these photos. Cliffjumper is looking great. Comparing the details with Bumblebee, I'm 100% positive that this is an official TT.

I think the difference may be that this latest prototype has a gray painted face while others had silver. I agree this one looks better.

You could be right. Also the light could be affecting how it looks.

Still, his face does look wider / fatter, which is what it needed to be.

Edit: Looking some more.... I think it might be a different sculpt.
The chin and overbite appears more defined and he has brow shaping in the new one.

Again, it could be light or perhaps the older version has more paint; masking the definition.

Unless otengu84 got his hands on another prototype I think it's the flash that's making the face sculpt look different. If it's the same prototype then it's a pretty cool effect that you can get a very toon look or a slightly modern one based on the lighting. Overall, I think it looks like a more refined version of the MP45 mold but obviously the same issues are still there.
This hasn't been front paged yet?

Thanks for the update on this, and for all the photos!

Seems like it’s pretty legit as far as being a TakaraTomy figure. It looks like their work and the Autobot symbol tampo seems like a pretty good indicator. Still, we need some official acknowledgment of this guy soon. This has to be the strangest MP leak ever.

As you wish my friend :)
Actually all prototypes’ face colour is grey. It sometimes looks like silver, but it is just due to the light of camera.

I don't know what changed but I like this figure a lot more than I did in the previous photos. I think that face sculpt is spot on too.

Dude, that’s the EXACT same face. Just look at the scratch on the lower lip, it’s the same object.

It’s not reasonable to expect better from an MP-45 retool. Honestly, it could have been worse.
Like MP Bee, this figure isn’t the slightest bit appealing to me, but I do think the design team did a good job hitting their target.
