I ordered in November so I'm in a much later batch. They ship in order of when you placed your order. Also they're among the first for US retailers, not HK retailers. SHOWZ and a few others are HK based so they get it sooner than others.

In pretty much every scene he has the swords in DOTM. They made them handheld in that movie, which I was never a fan of to be completely honest.

Lots of places still haven't gotten it. And SS has never been known for getting studd particularly early.

Well then, it seems like a bit of misinformation has been spread to me.

SS should be getting them first in the US, technically. Unless the shipping back-ups really went screwy.

Got mine in today from Sideshow and couldn't be happier.

Here's a quick out of the box shot. Will have to mess around with him more tomorrow.

"You'll never stop at one, I'LL TAKE YOU ALL ON!"

Didn't realize until after taking the photos that his hip/barrel pieces aren't rotated and placed properly. Oh well, really enjoying the figure so far!

I just got mine from Sideshow today and got him out of the box. Let me start by saying I hate the Bayverse, I never saw the movie, and I hate the design. I bought this because I think ThreeZero makes an absolutely killer product that is an even better value.

So with that said, this is another solid release. It was seriously disconcerting when pulling Optimus out of the box and having not one, but seven(!) pieces fall off him immediately. Perhaps they needed a better way to package him! That said, everything clicked back in to place. Clearly they have a lot of removable pieces for the Jetfire combination gimmick.

I only own one full size ThreeZero figure to-date (but I think all the DLX figures), and that’s the most recent Bumblebee. This figure does give me a similar feel in that I am worried you could actually break something. Compared to Siege Optimus Prime or any of the other DLX figures, this one feels fragile. Even more fragile feeling than Blitzwing. I thought I’d be posing him with swords, but I went with dual wielding guns after playing around with him a bit.

It’s still not the greatest looking design to me (pretty ugly actually), but it’s a darn impressive collectible. If you are a fan of Bayverse, I think this should be an insta-buy.

The only figure I have hand issues with is the WFC Optimus Prime. Nemesis Prime has better hands though, so they must have made an adjustment. I may work with some crazy glue to make the ball a bit bigger on WFC Prime, that should fix it. All of the movie figures I have have great hands.

People (not me) complained the hands were to hard to get on/off on the early DLX figures. I thought they were perfect, nice and tight.

Popping the hands off and on of my BB prime is really tough and the thumb came unglued when trying to put the gun into the “gun holding hand”

Dlx bumblebees hands pop in and out really nice. So I think it’s an area that can definitely use a little refinement but not a deal breaker by any means.
