No need to wait on Keith - Liketoys on TB / idlefish has designed/created and fully printed up a Titan/ MP combiner size Halonix Max. From memory it’s ¥1100-1500. I bought the upscale kit he does for Jinbao OSKO Grav. The quality is there for that and it’s tempting to jump in on the holo Titan. The scale of it is photographed next to TW Constructor below. Could be a decent stand in till somebody has a proper go at it:








I’m happy with the quality of Liketoys work. I’m sure that Halonix Max will be equally as good

 

One of the, now largely forgotten, reasons for the Great War... Megatron was jealous that Trailbreaker was always the better gamer.

 

Archaeopteryx/Puma. Combined mode is a dragon. Though yeah, that actually reinforces your point since his alts bear so little resemblance to any real world (or fantasy in the case of a dragon) version.

Still, Ravage was designed as a robo-Jaguar (why they'd know what a jaguar is on Cybertron is anybody's guess, though) so I always like it when his design and proportions are as cat-like as possible.

 

Love the photos of the two next to each other. Makes it harder for me to resist buying the tapes. Hahaha.

 

I always thought of his combined mode more like a cybertronian gryphon. I think the bottom is a lynx tho(?)

 

After getting the double-hinge sorted out on RobotParadise Shadow, I think he's pretty photogenic!!

I did have. Trying to locate it now.

I used a TB agent to buy the kits and slippers to alter my Jinbao Devy. Unless you are fluent in Chinese you will likely need to get an agent to purchase that holo Titan on your behalf.

 

Makes as much sense as anything, I guess, but griffins don't have teeth so I figured dragon. Honestly I don't think they really gave that much thought to it when designing him. After all, they made the bottom of his shuttle mode the little platform that wheels the shuttle out rather than using the boosters and stuff that actually made it fly.

Lol right? I forget sometimes which of these originated as diaclone (or something else even) and redeco'd vs original transformers which would have a little bit more intentional design.

 

I think the breakdown was like this...

Megatron, Soundwave, Reflector, Blaster, Preceptor, cassettes, and minibots = brought over from Microchange

Omega Supreme and Sky Lynx = licenses from a company called Toybox

Shockwave = licensed from a company called Toyco

Skyfire/Jetfire = brought over from Macross

The rest of the Season 1 and 2 cast and Ultra Magnus = brought over from Diaclone

Rest of the Season 3 cast = made for the TF frsnchise based on Flory Dery's designs

 

I know Parkour is coming in the next year or three...



I wonder if FT will be doing Bee, Gears or Windcharger? It'd be nice to have a uniform mini-bot crew!

I might also trust Deformation Space/Transform Element, and maybe even X-Transbots to develop more updated toon-centric versions.

Slowly but surely... by hook or by crook... we are getting there.
