yeah it's such a newbie mistake to find one in an art store instead of like, ordering online, hahaha. But it's okay, since Atomic Tofu and I found out that this oil is 0.97 density and is 350 cst, so it could be used, however CE-01 might be too important to use it on first, so maybe I'll use an old toy or something. If something happens to the plastic I'll report it here. Lesson learned, buy the actual thing rather than find a counterpart! hahaha

How I felt after successfully transforming him back and forth:

 

Good figure. Ball joints nice nicely on mine. From my inspections so far I don't see any issues with the figure itself. I do have 1 set of electronics that don't work and another set with only one working led.

 

Yet again LS13 does not disappoint. This bumblebee is really good third time transforming it and finally got all of the tabs in. After having gone back and forth a few times All of the tabs have been sufficiently worn in now and everything just clicks into place. Besides some slight places of overspray of the white undercoat onto the windows the paint job is really good. No chips so far there was a scratch out of the box though but nothing new past that. I have high hopes for this if it doesn't deteriorate like the original this could be the one. Pictured with LS13 and Boku BK 02 trailer.

 

using your pictures, this photo of the Beetle and Camaro from the 2007 Movie, and the ending scene of Bumblebee, I could say that the alt modes look in scale together, for my eyes anyway.

 

How the hell is supposed to mount the cannon?   there is a big odd gap between the wrist and the power button.

 

They are not. A beetle tires are smaller than a camaros, and the freightliners is much bigger. Ce bee match with primes robot form, but the beetle made by transcraft is in scale with that freightliner.

 

Eh, they look fine by me. I mean, in the end, it's just a matter of preferences.

 

You are right. If i don’t bought the tc i jump on the ce version, but it is only bigger and i have the ls07 for beetle mode already. If they will realease a weathered version maybe i buy it.

 

I have a solution to the first of your problems, the rear wheel arch, I have a solution, this afternoon I will upload the photos, it is to convert that pin into a Balljoint, it is not complicated, the second problem is to ask for the spare part and with the head part it is to reassemble it.

 

Got mine today from Lensple from AliExpress. I had originally pre-ordered from Show.Z, but Lensple had it for $30 cheaper, so I decided to take the gamble. Another member (sorry, I forgot who), mentioned that their packaging leaves a lot to be desired, and they were right. I was worried when I first opened the box, but everything seems to be OK upon initial brief inspection.

Shipping didn't take long considering the situation. I'll most likely stick to Show.Z unless the pricing difference is significant enough.

Will spend some more time with it later this week and perhaps lube up some joints.

Add me to the list of just received him! I really like this guy, especially his face sculpt, it better catches the innocent look that he had, compared to the original hypnotizing demonic glare! Lol. My only gripe is I wish they would have reworked the feet kibble and got rid of the awful permanent "A" stance he's got.

 

I successfully transformed my guy. Nothing broke or gave any indication of being about to break. I was very careful none the less.

Everything went where it was supposed to. So far, so good.

 

One thing I have noticed in all the photos of CE-01 vs TC-01 is the rear fender lights on the sides of the calf legs that are not present on the TC Bee. Is this a mold change or just mistransformed out of the box?

 

Interesting...I don't have my CE yet, but just rewatched my vid on it and this part folds up and hides inside the lower leg...so really curious too.
EDIT: I went back through the pics in this post, and it looks like a mold change since that's reflected on the box art...is this how he looks in the movie? It showed on the outside of his calf?
EDIT again as @Whatifsin stated...but really curious that it is shown as part of the artwork.

 

Mistransformation that the original is also able to do. I personally fold them in like on the original but I guess that's up to preference.

I’ve been really curious about those back light pieces! How did you get them to fold away? I’ve tried and can’t get them to sit flush inside the leg no matter what I did and I’m afraid of flexing something I shouldn’t.
