Anyway. It's cool to see you guys with some hope. Maybe the game will be released someday, who knows, but the new Wizards of the Coast's game studio is probably going to be taking over future development of Hasbro's IPs, including Transformers, so let's see what happens with the projects that are still in development.
If the project is still being developed I wouldn't count on a studio change, those are usually messy and not common in licensed games like these. Projects get cancelled everyday and just a few go public.

It's a bit more complex than that for licensed games:

1. Hasbro (or other IP company) moves the idea to publishers they usually work with (or they seek "new partners").
2. These publishers then will move the project to studios under their umbrella (adquired studios or contractors).
3. The studios' designers will have to pitch a game concept and it will need to be aproved by both publisher and IP holder.

In that case, it's up to the IP holder to give the final approval.
Usually IP holders will give vague ideas about a genre and a target audience, but nothing more. It's up to the studio to actually give the pitch to the IP holder, not the other way around.

Of course this can be different for some publishers/specific projects, but it seems to me that Hasbro just wanted an online/core experience and the idea landed on CA's roof through Tencent or whoever their contact was.

This article does not have an issue date of when the article was created, does not cite sources, and is most likely from a random person just speculating like us and is using old info just like us, and can guarantee nothing. It's very highly unlikely this article is correct on the release date because if they do know about it, they would have to have broken a number of laws getting and telling about it, since no official word has gotten out due to NDAs. Everything about this website screams click bait; vague info, no sources and a ton of pop ups, which usually points to a click baity website.

Also, did you not take a high school English class? The first things to look in an article is the date it was released, the cited sources, and who's the author. Just about every major writer, news outlet, and even people on this site, use and try to cite credible info.

BEYOND HIGHLY UNLIKELY, there has been zero, and I mean zero advertisements and publicity for this game. If a game has been in development hell, then it means the game is in development hell and going to take a while. Hell, they haven't even confirmed the title or even if it's still in development because of the breach of contract, yet alone even fully announced or given us a teaser/gameplay/story or anything. Just about every studio and publisher uses YEARS to promote, hype up, and build an audience for their upcoming game and we have seen zero of that. And seeing that more and more devs are pushing back games even further due to Covid/whatever, with STALKER 2 being the most recent, I cannot see in any possible future this releases before the end of this year. At most, we would get an announcement for it. Not to mention E3 and other major events are being canelled once again and choosing to go virtual, so it's going to be hard to tack on to some other big conference since just about all the big studios want to hold their own press event outside of E3 and other conventions. And since Hasbros events aren't mainstream enough for the average gamer, it would make zero sense for them to do it on one of their conferences and not on someone's like Sony and Microsoft who's already got the mainstream causal gaming audience.

Dude, you seriously need to take your emotions out of this and stop acting like a child who's not getting their way. If all the info is pointing like it's not coming in 2022, then it's probably not coming I'm 2022.
