My favourite company there was Xybertoys… some cracking deals on the Sunday as they didn’t want to ship the stuff back halfway across the world!

I think they see the value in toy versions more now, so it may come. (Or a revised version)

Xybertoys was great, I loved Aaron. One of the strangest moments of my life was randomly bumping into him in Hong Kong in the Street late at night, he's from Singapore! Very odd. He was like "I could hear some loud Westerners and they sounded familiar!"

We were walking around the toy district I guess. Haha.

Ooh, those look nice! I do love a set of Bugs. :D   And I only have three - my battered childhood ones that I forgot to give to my nephews, the POTP trio, and the ones FansProject did back in the day. Must pick up a reissue set some day. And am excited for the Legacy versions, although I do wish Kickback's wings weren't made of clear plastic. Makes me worry that they'll do Shrapnel and Bombshell's traditionally-chromed parts in clear too. :(

Hahaha, I think I've mentioned on here that when she was a kid my mate thought Man At Arms' first name was actually Manat.

Sorry, I just like the way you chant the numbers from the magnetic strip. ;)

Quite right! If I had any paint I would rectify my copy at once. :D :D

No, on a mushroom peg. Could possibly be induced to slide off. :)

Quoted for truth! TFN hangovers are a special kind, mighty in evil, relentless as the Devil. :drunk

I was just going to mention Roko's Basilisk in a post, but can no longer remember why. But then it's not good to think about Roko's Basilisk...

This sounds like a plan! We will find a suitable mountain, or at least a high hill. :)

Haha, so was I. In fact I had a pair of bermuda shorts that could cause blindness at a distance of 100 metres, last worn on a beach in California where the sand was too hot to walk on!

Am wondering what Doozers poop. What do they eat? Do we even know? Maybe their poop is green and resembles peas. In which case, the veggie drawer would look much as before. :D

I kept all the Hunter Autobots when I got rid of my PRID toys. My favourite is Arcee, though she clearly worships Yog Sothoth.

Good thought! I'm sure Omnibots are coming, maybe this will be how. :)

Haha, fair enough! As I am G2 Doucoo now I reckon there should be a "G2" Irn Bru, even more garish than before!

Oh, she's undoubtably a pretool. As is Bulkhead. I expect she's going to be Flamewar, Flareup, Beast Hunter Arcee, Pink Arcee, Road Rocket, Road Pig, CHUGified Oil Slick, Triggerbot Override, and Groove.

Ha, cool. I liked the episode where Mokey convinces the Fraggles to stop eating the Doozer construction, and the Doozers pack up and start to leave, as there's no longer space for them to make new buildings...:hookday

Do you suppose they think his colourscheme is too similar to the Rainmaker Nova Storm? I bet they do the Earthrise mold in yellow instead...like you I would prefer the Tetrajet of course! :cry

    It does! :lol

Thats awesome! There were a fantastic company and I missed them (and Ellis models) when they stopped deals in TFS. Xybertoys just seemed to stop restocking the website and nothing was actually announced. Ellis wanted to diversify as TFS were waning in popularity at that point!

My biggest regret of back then is not buying original G1 artwork when I had the chance. That will always haunt me.

Xybertoys were great - I bought a fair whack of stuff both at AA and online with them back in the day. Early MPs, BTs, some G1 Re-Issues…. My MP-01 came from Aaron.

What happened with Aaron? He just seemed to disappear from the game, and then randomly saw him at a TFN a few years back selling some bits. Nice chap, super helpful and always up for a deal!

Just watched the first three episodes of Peacemaker and laughed my arse off. Now I reeeeeeeeally want Gunn to make an Ambush Bug TV series. He could do such a good job of it.

Ellis Models was fantastic, I literally bought 90% of Galaxy Force from them and it was stunning how good the service was. Really really outstanding

I bought so much from them, especially Takara stuff (and is how I have my full WST set). Even had mini AA meets through they year in brum with some other chaps too! Got some nice little insights in to things.

Ditto. IIRC he got in the better deco Takara versions? They pulled me back in after the simplification of Armada just wasn't my bag, back to almost G1 articulation in the comparative FOOTUR just was not for me after the Glory of RID Prime & Mags.

That set is such an oddity :lol

    GLORIOUS! :lolol

    :lol I NEED PICTURES!

Ooh love the pitch. I could also completely see Beckett with more of a mentor type role, I mean Bakula is getting on a bit. Even in NCIS: New Orleans he generally has other people to do most of the running for him these days :lol

I like both that crossover idea and that idea for Springer's fate.

Huh, by the end we had a few Transformers lost in time and/or the multiverse in IDW huh? Springer, that 'other' Lost Light...

    AHAHAHAAHHAAHAHA THIS. IS. GLORIOUS!!!

Ah Woolworths. I remember spending a lot of time in the toy aisle as a kid. Occasionally if I'd been especially good my parents would even get me a toy - which was extra cherished as we were hardly rich. It helped with Woolworths that the Mum of one of my school friends worked there and would apply her staff discount ^^.
Only toy I can actually clearly remember getting from there was a White Ranger figure :D  Though I vaguely think I might have got one of the Power Ranger motorbikes too a different time?

    Dammit doug!!

Have you made the expected ritual sacrifice while wearing factor 50 Sun cream, a smile and nothing else?

It's the way I roll my Rs isn't it?

I expect it looks smells and can be used as grouting.

Of the retools, she certainly ranks high, but I can't not love my boy Jackie. Twas a shame they never slapped a slicer paint job on that mold.

Right? Believe the original idea was to have rewind universe leaping post Overlord encounter too.

    TF#4 of 2022. Kingdom Terrorsaur.

    Chasing dinner.

    Deliciously evil.

Bit worried about the wings in pteranodon mode, but the robot face-sculpt really nails it. And he’s the same colour as a sorbet. Winnage!

Haven't spent a penny on bots this month, yet this has been a good week for plastic crack.

    Can't beat a robot riding a dinosaur! :)

And the way you pronounce them in a Russian accent if I swipe the card in the other direction.

    Doozer grouting! Nutritious and long-lasting.

I like Hunter Jackie's angel wings.

They did make this "Dark Energon" repaint. Never got it because of the clear plastic.

    PrimeDEtoy-Wheeljack.jpg

Would rather have had a more G1-colours look though. And the neon buggy.

There's a sticker peeling on my Wind Raider. Will ordinary super glue do the job?

This Dark Wheeljack was the first toy I'd lost since losing Princess Leia in Endor gear back in 1984 at school. Bought it at a comic show and opened it, and it just disappeared into a box of show bits and never, ever reappeared.

My cousin’s next tower shipment is already being assembled

Here is the first part of it

    6DA44A83-171F-43D1-B886-6F6D3B032BC3.jpeg

Fun fact ; I couldn’t find countdown when I first got this out of the box and told the seller .. who told me that she was selling on behalf of her brother who had passed away and would check for me but couldn’t find it after a bit of back and forth. Obviously didn’t want to press her and gave her 5* regardless

So anyway omega had been lying on my table for a week or so , disassembled , and today I decided to put him together ultimately so I can put him into his box… and I hear a distinct rattling from a shin compartment that I forget existed …
