Woah, first I’ve seen of that grey Galvatron!

As for Soundwave, I’m torn. Feel like I’m sticking to Newage for the main G1 heavy-hitters and Iron Factory for the more tertiary characters. Looking forward to seeing more of the truck alt mode though.

 

They need to re-release laserbeak, buzzsaw and ravage.

Almost lost my shit seeing that Cosmos thinking IF was doing one. Then noticed it was a custom MAAS 'Bee.

 

Same here! Now my soul will be restless until IF makes a Cosmos.

 

no they need to revisit those little bots. the first batch definitely leaves a lot on the table.

Figures this would appear just *after* I had my roller’s stash shipped.

 

A simper idea for cassettecons, Ravage becomes a cannon and Laserbeak and Buzzsaw either combine into a shield or they each become shields like their original IF versions, and maybe Ratbat becomes some sort of claw weapon or Chakram.

But, for now, I'll probably loan DX9's Ravage to New'Wave, while DX9'Wave remains in tapedeck mode with Ratbat inside and Laserbeak hanging off their antenna/cannon barrel.

 

How fantastic would it be to get a nice, large IDW inspired IF Cosmos?

 

Yeah, those pictures had me excited for second. I thought we're seeing new Cosmos, Rewind, Eject and maybe getting a new Blaster.

Since Rumble and Frenzy are separate set now maybe IF can work on a Ratbat to go with them.

Is that IDW grey body Galvatron a thing? I don’t remember him growing bigger.

 

Yeash. They managed to make both alt modes look bad...

 

I find that they're endearing in their goofiness.

I'm also very rarely ever going to transform Sonicwave, so good thing that that bot mode is gorgeous.

And, Sonicwave does have some peg holes on the bottoms of his feets, so it's possible (if still very highly unlikely) to see some sort of Cassettecon Combiner Sonicwave with Glit and Ravage forming roller skates for Sonicwave.

 

I really love IF legends for being so stylized and unique compared to the rest of my collection which is pretty staight-forward g1. But that's why I am skipping this one as IDW Soundwave is just.....Soundwave.
