This thread has got me so damn close to pulling the trigger on the NECA 90 Movie Shredder.

That is funny. BTW I don't look down on 1/4 scale I just don't have that kind of space. Of course if there were only 6 to get instead of however many 1/12 then space would free up I guess.

It looks like Walmart is restocking the Movie Turtles again. Found Raph/Mikie and Leo/Donnie this morning.

That looks pretty good! The colors in particular pop sooo nicely. I also like all the gadgetry and instrument panels inside.

It's missing the spoiler in the video but there are also colored pics on ShowZ with it present.

I will say that it felt a bit fiddly when the doors and panels were opened up. Hopefully those are just tolerance issues that'll be worked out before release. Also, I wish the control panels with "radars" at the back of the van weren't just mirrors of each other. For the price I would have liked them to be at least a little bit different.

This isn't a neca product. The video says neca in the title but if you look at the full title it is neca van released by third party or something to that effect. This is that third party van that we saw gray proto images of a while back.

I like this third party van and I think they did a great job incorporating so many details into it. It's really impressive. But, I suspect a lot of people are holding out to see what NECA does. If these were $100 pieces, it would be easier to jump on multiple versions. But at upwards of $300 or more, I suspect most people are going to pick just one (if that) and roll with it (pun!).

Can't wait for the antrax-scumbag sightings. The newsroom is tempting but ultimately I'd be getting it for Burne only, and it's not worth it.

    Seller is running behind.

He or she said the diorama would ship some point next week.

No Turtles II April? I'm not buying the movie figures, so I'm indifferent myself, but I'm curious all the same: is there interest in having figures of "both" Aprils, or are most people satisfied with just a Judith Hoag April figure?

I have no problem with 1/4 scale figures themselves, I'm just mainly interested in having as full a cast as possible, whatever the source material, and 1/4 scale is just too limited in character selection by its nature. For my interests, 1/12 and 1/10 are the perfect scales.

I also write off 1/4 as taking up too much space, but like @Bryan Thornton said, having 10 1/4 scale figures would ultimately take up far less space than 60 1/12 scale figures! When it comes to collecting though, I definitely leave some of my logic behind at the door!
