On the Chopping Block Was perusing g the classifieds here and saw this. @lango7 is selling a lot of neca packs. Doesn't list prices but said retail plus 10% on most stuff. He has the old turtles and many other packs for the toon stuff. I didnt check the spread sheet but there are some good deals here if people need these.
Just a reminder that I'm looking for the News Crew 4-pack from Target if anyone finds an extra... it looks like they're starting to roll into Texas now!
I wish for the dignity of a museum. Instead, I'll have to settle for a warehouse instead! Being a packrat/hoarder runs in the family though, so it isn't too surprising I have literally hundreds of stored figures. The main space sinks are the several hundred Marvel Legends, the 50-60 Masterpieces (since I keep the full packaging), and the fairly complete original G1 series. Everything else (Marvel Select, DCC Arkham, DCC Animated, NECA Toon TMNT, and assorted odds & ends) doesn't come close to taking up as much space. Still, I figure if I maintain my current collecting rate, I'll start having very real space issues in about 2-3 years. I may end up needing to move if I decide to continue collecting at that point. At least some other lines I've been tempted to start, like GI Joe Classified or Storm Mortal Kombat, I vicariously experience through friends or family, so I've resisted the urge! As for my Antrax/Scumbug set...it still says I should expect it tomorrow, but there has been zero movement, so I think that's not too likely at this point. And since it appears to be shipping from California (I think all my NECA orders so far have come from Wisconsin), and with a winter storm hitting here in a couple days, I'm thinking it might take until next weekend to get here.
Checked burleson today and it was all wingnut screwloose and frog packs. Had about 6 of each but I left them as people don't seem to need those. Mansfield I was there yesterday and a neca rep hasn't been in that store since pre Christmas. That stores collectibles section is a got dang mess. Seems that the less reputable sort has found that the collectibles area is the place to dump their trash after they steal the toy. Tons of empty boxes and card wrappers and no organization to anything that actually does belong in that section.
Jeez! My Target looked like the rep hadn’t been by in a while too, but it didn’t have the problem you describe.
Well the actor that played Tatsu thinks he is being spam called by Neca whenever they try to contact him about getting his permission for the figure. Hopefully he will cooperate eventually. To be honest all that remains for my movie collection is Ooze Shredder, Keno, and Tatsu. That's all I need. Focus will then shift to remaining toon and comics.
Not sure if you were being facetious or not. But here is your pic. I know a lot of you guys look down on the 1/4 scale figures but I can never purchase the smaller scale figures. I'm a completionist and would never stop collecting so I'm good at the 6 1/4 scale figures.
