I'm with you on this. I got one second-hand (not yours, lol) and was surprised how terrible he felt. Transformed once back and forth (never again!). At least he looks cool.

I still love the BC but it doesnt' feel G1 enough. I do love the sorcery of making a pretty large tank mode into a carbot-sized robot.

I hated FT's arms and didn't like its overly athletic proportions.

Final Victory is actually my favorite MP scale Warpath... it's the right size, has the right proportions, is the right color, has the right altmode (a chibi tank) and on top of that was the right price!

I feel like these Final Victory designs were the remainder of Toyworld's minibots that started with Cosmos and Seaspray. They have the same hands, the same general design philosophy, and the same 'value MP' approach. I feel like Toyworld actually did a better job than anyone else of capturing Seaspray and Cosmos' weird, derpy proportions and I feel the same way about Warpath.

I kind of wish I'd had a chance to get an up-close look at Brawn and Huffer, but until Fanstoys came around I felt like Badcube had those positions on lock. But if I didn't have them at the time Final Victory came out (especially with the aftermarket prices they were commanding at that point), I'd have gotten the FVs and been pretty happy with them. (I'd have still replaced Brawn and Huffer with FTs... they're too important as characters for me to just not care about the fact that there are clearly more show-accurate versions... but I'd have been happy with them in the interim)

    Awesome! Looking good! :D

It's too bad that this mod exposes more of his inner hip joints, but it's worth it. It may be a small difference, but the way it changes Brawn's stance still feels like a big improvement on how I handle and perceive the figure!

Does anyone have a Final Victory Warpath they'd be willing to part with? I can't find one available anywhere. :(

Finally got one and I broke it the day it arrived, kicking myself hard right now because it would have been so easy to avoid, and it's completely my fault. :(

We've all been there at times. I'm sure there's a way to fix it. (Unfortunately I'm not technically minded, just supportive)

It does at least still work fine in both tank and robot modes, it just comes off during the transformation sadly.

Also missing the muzzle of the gun, but I at least can think of a solution for that...

I'm surprised they didn't retool Brawn And Huffer into Outback and Pipes respectively.

I agree, but I also see why they did not.

These days, everybody wants very cartoon-accurate figures. Although Outback and Pipes were remolds from Brawn and Huffer, their cartoon models look very different. If they did just a small remold, I don't think enough fans would be interested. But unfortunately, the retooling required to make these molds look cartoon-accurate would probably be too extensive.

I think these are actually very good figures, but they didn't build a great reputation on this project. I would not be surprised if the team behind Final Victory just started another company under another name.

I agree with Smog, that the crowd wanting toon accuracy has been growing a lot since these 3 were released, and FV may have seen their niche market getting smaller.. Though, with that said, I feel like FV could have remolded them into decent toon options.

I, for one, still stand by something I said a while ago, "Warpath is a quick reshell away from being a great Seaspray".
