I was expecting the Dragon to be larger. Also Tigatron looks like he's getting it up the ass from Primal in that first picture looool

I was too. I think this is more of a "legs down + flying position" thing. He's pretty squat and his neck is much lower. Here he is from the front. Not that his head is actually below is shoulders in this position. But it was the best I had, and it's accurate to the same model.

Just from comparing the foot to knee heights, it looks like TM2 would not be taller than TM Megs once transformed at the current scale.

Excellent work! I can't comment on BM but I definitely can in terms of BW :D
My biggest issue with the gifs is that bot and beast modes are in different perspectives. Beast mode is usually a lot closer to the camera when compared to robot mode. I'm not confident they would work out for scaling purposes. They give great pics for the scale though. I still trust the previous work on Tigatron based solely on show screenshots from page 31:
The pic I used for Tigatron had his neck very high, something he rarely did in the show so that might be why he looks off. I reworked his image/neck even more so he has the same height but looks more massive. Here's a pic showing and the different perspectives from the gif I mentioned earlier.
    upload_2021-12-12_21-24-34.png

I'm also not quite convinced of your estimate for TM2 Megs but it could come from his strange snake-like pose. Using the scale screenshot and his awesome dragon pic you posted earlier I got this for TM2 Megs height (plus random Tigerhawk lol):
    upload_2021-12-12_21-39-25.png
Now he looks too tall to me :lolol  I think his actual height is somewhere between your estimate and mine. It's good progress though, once we have a finalized height estimate for Tigerhawk and TM2 Megs, we would only need TM2 Blackarachnia and TM2 Cheetor to finish off the Beast Wars cast beast mode chart...right?

I like yours better. however, I am not convinced the side view is wrong. Check out where both dragon knees hit.
    upload_2021-12-12_21-2-29.png

If one is hunched forward and the other is more upright, they could both be correct.

That said, yours visually looks way better. Great job!

    Okay, this is interesting.

A Norway rat is 9.5" (24.13cm) long (not counting the tail) and 1lb. Rattrap is 1.7M tall, which makes that a 1:7.05 scale conversion. If I do the conversion with weight at the same ratio, that means a Norway rat the same size of Rattrap would be 66 1/4 lbs. (Egad!) If Rattrap were a man that size, he would weight 145 lbs, with a BMI of 22.7 kg/m.

How would one go about converting that to a Cybertronian weight? I propose converting the mass of a human, and converting that to an alloy (Steel or Titanium or Transformium), then adding some variable of the weight of the animal beast mode.

The same process could work for animal or vehicle alt modes.

    What do you think?

Here's the S1 Beast mode scale with the new Tigatron proportions. Now I think the Season 1 scale is spot on smooth :D
    [IMG]
And just in time before the end of the year, here's the S2 & S3 Beast mode scale, I made the Tigerhawk pic a little less "toy-etic" and added TM2 Cheetor & Blackarachnia. I also reworked Dragon Megs' wings so they don't take up all the space. Please let me know if anything seems off.

So who is the bot who gains/loses the most size/mass in going from beast to robot mode? My money is on either Airrazor or Inferno for season 1.

Terrorsaur, absolutely. Spindly, floppy beast mode barely taller than Rattrap goes to someone taller than Optimus.

Yeah it’s Terrorsaur all the way.
He gains a ton of mass while turning from a wafer thin piece of leather into a bodybuilder bot. Airazor and Cheetor are basically the same size and build in bot mode and you can see their beast modes are also of similar mass.
Terrorsaur’s arms, legs and head all essentially just appear from thin air. There’s no way the mass of his wings could account for even one of his beefy bot legs.

Nice season 2 and 3 beast mode scale! Great work.

I've just took some pics of all the WFC Beast figs for scale purposes.

I feel like Rhinox is enormous in that toy line, was he really that much bigger in the cartoon?

Using GALVATOM's pics we can compare the toyline and show scale. Scaling the two rhinoceros together we get this, not a perfect scale but close enough if we ignore Dinobot and Rattrap.
    upload_2022-1-14_18-19-30.png
Here's a couple other charts I made comparing the scales. It uses T30 Rhinox but they are about the same height as seen in GALVATOM pics above. I don't think that Kingdom Rhinox is too big, what could be making it seem that way is that Dinobot is definitely too short and making Rhinox seem larger in comparison. They are all off one way or the other though depending on who you scale the chart to.

Can anyone identify where any of these numbers came from? Speciffically looking at the BWII/N heights. Is this another case of being listed on bio cards? As with all Japanese listings, I think I'm close, but Japan over estimates everything.
