Which do we think is more likely: Legacy Prime Arcee getting redecoed into one of the Energon bike characters (Flareup, Flamewar, etc) or one of the Road Rocket mold mates (G2 Jazz or RID Sideways)?

 

I just had a very vivid dream last night that the design sketches for Override and a bunch of other upcoming figures leaked in this thread..

T30 Roadbuster and in particular Whirl are perhaps some of the most faithful updates we've ever gotten to any original G1 toys, so it must not be too strict. If only we could get a Jetfire that's as close to his toy design as Whirl was...

 

If they do a Lio Convoy at some point they will likely call him Leo Prime.

 

RID Scourge is supposedly being released as Black Convoy so who knows.

 

I think I’ll give my vote to Road Rocket mold mates since we’ll be getting a Laser Prime repaint into Scourge, so maybe they might make an RID Sideways to give more representation. And since we did get some G2 stuff, G2 Jazz could probably happen in Legacy: Selects or somewhere else down the line.

 

Am I the only one who believes that RID 2015 has some very good designs and that it would be nice if they had CHUG-type figures?

 

I was going off of the new Flame Toys Lio Convoy being called Leo Prime.

 

Definitely not alone, though I don't care for the animalistic characters, I want a Wfc quality take on Strongarm.

I realize, my point was that they're being strangely inconsistent with names. There's the argument that they just did Scourge so they don't need the trademark refresh, but then they're adding another trademark to the fold, and eventually there's too many to defend, especially when there could be a time in the future where they may need to pull back on the brand for a little bit for whatever reason.

 

Some more than others (I don't hate the animal robot modes but I do think they are a little weird) I'd like to see some of those designs like Scorponok, Soundwave and Starscream's newer more G1 designs, Dragstrip (and maybe some of the other Stunticons).

 

If we had that attitude, we wouldn't. I'm expressing my desire to let Hasbro know there's even a desire there. Maybe if enough people want them, Hasbro may actually consider it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Besides, Hasbro definitely hasn't forgotten about the original Deluxe Insecticon designs.

I think the Energon bikes are more likely since they're better-known characters, but I wouldn't be surprised if both happen.

I was gonna say that there's a few Decepticons I wouldn't mind, but looking at them now... I'd really only like Saberhorn and maybe Filch

 

I would love figures of the new characters from the current beast wars comic, especially skold and nyx. I don’t expect them to be in legacy but hopefully in the follow up or the one after.
