Got charged for Black Zarak threw GS

 

Speaking of Gamestop, I picked up the Selects Galvatron on GS online for $49 shipped. Not a bad price and I have to admit, this version is starting to grow on me a little more than the regular version. The ironic thing is I didn't like these colors on the original G1 toy. I'll still keep the Kingdom one as my primary Galvatron but I'll probably repurpose the Selects version as Galvatron II (from the Marvel comic) or SG Galvatron.



Also, I was about ready to give up on GI Joe Classified with the distribution, the exclusivity issues, etc, but Alley Viper I think I has changed my mind on this line as a whole. I'm not planning on being a completist but I definitely want to pick up a few more now (especially that upcoming Storm Shadow). And as far as I'm concerned, this line doesn't need vehicles. I think they look good on their own. (And for anyone on the fence, I at least recommend Alley Viper. He is a great figure, amazing headsculpt and paint apps, and he is loaded with accessories.

Junkyard looks pretty good, i see endless repaints coming.

 

He does look pretty good. I almost dare say I like the look of him more than Wreck-Gar. The important question though is can SS Wreck-Gar ride him in cycle mode and vice versa.

I'm actually on board with the Junkyard retool. I have plenty 'nuff chug junkions; but another robot mode "close to mp sized" junkion for the MP display? Yes please!

The remolding on Junkyard looks great! Maybe they'll keep doing that much remolding for more Junkions. I imagine they'll be able to ride each other a bit, but probably not designed as "officially" as the previous ones with pegs/slots on the crotch/seat to really connect.

Classified Alley-Viper does look amazing. The original was one of my favs as a kid. Very tempting, but I'm staying out of collecting that scale!
