Wow, I've never been a fan of Wreckgar but good grief they absolutely knocked these two into another planet. These are works of art, worthy of the company of Hotrod.

 

The fact this is a fairly extensive retool makes this pretty damn appealing. Rare to see a background Junkion get this kind of love.
I'm not a fan of Wreck-Gar's long nipples, but I may pick this one up

 

Hey Hasbro, remember that new Starscream that you were working on for Rise before it got cancelled? You could probably get a voyager Leader-1 retool out of it to go with a retool of voyager Junkyard/Wreck-Gar into a Cy-Kill. Sell them individually or in a 2-pack, they'd sell.

Might as well make a Mad Max-inspired Ford Falcon Interceptor looking car mold for a new Junkion too. And while you're at it, also design it as a (p)retool for a new Lockdown that keeps the best styling bits of his Animated & RotF designs.

Yep, definitely need a chopper-y retool for Rum-Maj. And hey, a chopper Rum-Maj would also work as a (p)retool for a Legacy version of Animated Oil Slick.

Ooh, I like the bike mode a lot better than Wreck-Gar's with the new arm panels!

 

I can't explain why, but I have no interest in non-motorcycle Junkions. But a Generations-ized Oil Slick/Junkion re-tool would be welcome.

 

SS86 Wreck-Gar's posable nipples is unironically one of my favorite things about that figure.

 

I just wish he had a gun, or a different melee weapon.

 

Damn this makes it difficult to properly leave.

It looks very good but it's a pass for me as I dint have the time to enjoy these anymore but it looks great.

 

Wow that is a lot more remolding than I expected. I was expecting like a new head and maybe weapon.

 

The way this is remolded, something about it really reminds me of the Robotech Cy-Kill model kit.

I keep waiting for them to do the TCG bots as Gens Selects, but I think that ship has sailed (I really like Tetrajet Needlenose for some reason, I can't explain it)

Oh yeah, for the silly factor it's definitely got its appeal. But I'm just really fond of the Kei Zama design, and I think Reveal the Shield hits that mark for me closer. Not perfectly, but closer.

Now, if they did a comics-accurate Wreck-Gar with a patchwork body and a sled for a front wheel? I'd be all over that in a heartbeat.

 

This guy looks so good. I was planning on getting Wreck Gar but now I may wait out for this guy. I’m guessing if there’s leaks like these he can’t be too far along. Like a couple months maybe? Anyways do we know if the gun is ornamentation attached to the arm? If so that may be the only downfall imo, I’d prefer a cleaner look.

 

I might have to get both now....
