While I never ended up with one, everything I heard about the Metal Club/Muscle Bear stuff was that it was pretty much comparable to Metal Build official releases releases, or at least damn close to it for far less money. And, well, again, these things are typically one-and-done so why throw money at the secondary market if a far cheaper, good enough equivalent is out there? I was going to buy the KO Avalanche Exia but the company got raided just before it released. Ended up finding a secondary market one for a very acceptable price instead. Even if the $120 or so the MC release would have cost was very damn nice too. There's definitely the more stylized interpretations out there, I honestly regret not grabbing one of the Metal Build equivalent Kshatriyas, for example.

speaking of Kshatriyas I have owned both the Metal club and Steel legend version, both have their strong point. But I ended up selling both due to space issue :D

I really love the style of the Metal Build Avalanche Exia over anything I’ve seen when looking. I paid like $400 for mine with the weapon plus pack which I thought was a steal since I’ve been looking for it since 2017. I thought about getting the Dragon Moko one but there’s something about the metal build one that made me prefer it. I think the metal build one is more streamlined and edgier where as the Dragon Moko one is more traditional. Personally I would only get 3rd parties if the figure I wanted had little chance of being made, the official is hard to find or if I like the styling

At the same time, ordered the 2nd hand Type-F from Mandarake... and should be arriving today.. wait... i think i hear the doorbell!!!... *fingers crossed*...

    EDIT: No luck.. nothing...

Yup, with DHL shipping included, it totals around 42k yen...

My Strike Freedom Soul Blue is still leading as the most expensive for me (700AUD), sucks to get into the game late...

Release dates in USA are normally 2 to 3 months after the Japanese release. (They ship these in containers by ship)

so since this items was released at the end of December in Japan then you probably wont see the official release in USA until March at the earliest. Mostly closer to April or May with the delay.

Well let's hope there isn't an additional delay, but this is shipping from pbandai usa next month, instead of this month.

I'd be surprised if there weren't more unfortunately. I'm still waiting on the MRD justice which I think was October originally? I don't expect to see the type x till like March, hope I'm wrong.

99% of the orders I have made with them have been delayed. They should account for that and just add 2 months to the release date on the PO page. I'm waiting on the MB Strike Rouge which was a November release in Japan.

I have the MB Strike Rouge, MRD Bael, and the MB Type-X on order from P-Bandai USA. Those were my first orders from them, so I didn't know about the long wait times. All I knew at the time was that they were selling the items I wanted at MSRP and that I could pay off the orders immediately. I'm not too upset about the wait. Waiting is a part of this hobby, and I regularly order from Big Bad Toy Store, well known for their long wait times to get items in stock, so I'm used to getting stuff months later after release.

Its one of those situation where it got delivered to the designated parcel collection center (not DHL themselves) with a ready for pickup status, but when I arrive, they can't find the package...

I got a gut feeling someone must've stolen it.. or that the delivery man forgot bout it...

Man this is one expensive lost...

Man, finally managed to locate the package. Apparently the worker in the collection centre couldn’t find it, I had to go through another person… someone more senior to find the package.

Now I can joyfully unbox both Astraea.
